Indra's is a good Thai place for a moderate price. I ordered a lot, starting with three appetizers - shumai, vegetable tempura, and the fried stuffed chicken breast. The appetizers were good, although I wouldnt say impressive. The reason being is that they were cooked properly, however without the dipping sauce the dishes did not have a lot of flavor. The entrees we got were the Jalepeno Stir-Fried Shrimp, Indra's Noodle, and Thai Fried Rice. The Jalepeno Stir-Fried Shrimp was very good all around; the Thai Fried Rice was also a great dish (it have a strong grill flavor while not too much of seasonings, but it was pleasing and appropriate); the Indra's Noodles was good, although it paled in comparison to the other two dishes. The drinks we had were the Thai Iced Coffee and a Long Island Iced Tea, which both were good drinks. We had two desserts: the Mung Bean Custard and the Lychee Ice Cream. I would not recommend the Mung Bean Custard as it was dry and bland in flavor. The ice cream was good and I would get it again. Overall, I liked it and I would definitely go back if it were suggested. They have a large menu, so there's a lot to try.

Indra's is authentic Thai, and all of our food was seasoned perfectly. All the portions are small, and the eggrolls should appear on the menu as micro or bite-sized. The spring rolls are absolutely delicious and are a personal favorite. I ordered the spicy basil chicken, which was very good, but I am not a fan of ground chicken, and the menu does not specify that. The Tom Yum Soup was excellent, but the three shrimp in it were very small. My wife ordered the drunken noodle with chicken and was able to find 4 very small slices of chicken mixed into the dish. The Thai fried rice with chicken was barely enough for two and was very light on the chicken. Our bill was $65.00 (very pricey), and It was the first time eating Asian food, and I didn't have to wait the full hour to be hungry again.

I stop for lunch at this Thai restaurant and I was very pleased. The interior is immaculately clean. The ladies give great service and the dishes are a joy to look at. My standards for Thai are high because I have been to very good Thai places on the west coast. The coconut shrimp lack flavor as if was frozen and then fried. The shrimp potstickers were ok but nothing extraordinary. The soup Tom Kah had good flavor but the mushrooms and zucchini were standard added at the last minute but fresh. The coconut ice cream I do recommend. It is creamy and the flavor is delicious. It will be worth trying more dishes at Indra’s which has a large menu.

I went to this place because of the good reviews. What a disappointment! I placed an order over the phone and told the person taking the order that my kids were hungry and I would pick up the order as soon as possible. The order was ready in 15 minutes as expected. However, when I got home, the food was so spicy that no one was able to eat it, including myself, who enjoys spicy food! I called the restaurant to see what could be done and was told that they would refund me if I was not satisfied. When I asked for something less spicy for the kids, they said they couldn't do that and took my credit card number. Before hanging up, the woman requested my address to pick up the food or for me to bring it back. What a terrible way to handle the situation! Will never consider them again! What a...

We were very disappointed with our experience here. We have eaten Thai at Many different restaurants in Illinois over the years & this was our worst experience so far. The food was mediocre at best; The prices were def high for the quality & portion size. We ordered the Chicken Satay, Spicy Basil Chicken, Chicken Pad Thai & Beef Panag Curry. The Satay was 3 very small, thin & bland pieces of chicken for $8.00 & did not include the traditional cucumber salad (even though it states it on the menu) but rather 3 thin slices of cucumber cut in half. The Pad Thai was dry, the spicy basil chicken didn't have the traditional Thai chili's but rather chili powder & It was terrible! The Panag Curry was the only thing remotely palatable & it was served luke warm. We will not be returning & do not...
