Rolling Valley Grill — Restaurant in Orland

Walked in shortly after noon. Ordered a beer and a coke. Waited about 10 minutes to order. We were the only table 4 beer drinkers at the bar. We didn't receive our food until almost 2pm. 2 hours for food. We were told there were 3 BIG tables in the "back" we ordered a fried chicken sandwich and an Italian sub. After almost an hour I had to flag down the server to get another beer. After an hour and a half I asked about our food.. there were big orders before you we were told, we will "comp your drinks" a coke and barely 2 beers by this point. Another 30 minutes goes by before we get our appetizer, jalapeno poppers moments later our food arrives. Poppers should have been burn your tongue hot but they were warm. Sandwiches were great really really great. Fries and house chips were cold/burnt. Not a great experience, unlikely we will come here again. Unfortunately the food is probably great but the bartender server has no personality was inattentive and seemed "stressed" despite us being the only food order in the main dining area. Ordered 2 pizzas and breadsticks for a carry-out order. Made the mistake of not checking them before we got home. Opened the box and they were burnt to a crisp. Almost like they were forgotten and left in too long. The cheese was black and it was for a kids party so they wouldn’t touch it. $50 total for our order so I expect quality if I am paying $20+ for a pizza. Called and they apologized and promised a refund. Well 2 months later still no refund. I have called no less than a dozen times and each time someone takes down my information and promises a call from the owner, stating he is the only one who can issue a refund. Realized he was actually never going to call me so I started asking when he would be in (I live 2 hours away or would have just gone in person). Every time I call “oh, you JUST missed him” or they give me a different time to call back. This used to be the place we ordered pizza from when we were at the lake, but we will never be back. Absolutly Horrible customer service from the new owners. Ordered to go food, when picked up the food was raw and undercooked. After contacting the establishment to inform them of my under cooked food (with pictures) they refused to do anything and proceeded to slander on social media. The owners then started making very rude untrue accusations on social media all in an effort to not be held accountable for sending out raw food. Extremely disappointed. I would suggest taking your money to a different local establishment. The new owners don't seem to want local businesses nor care much about customer satisfaction. Truly a...
