Food quality: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Had my experience with Brooklyn Water Bagel today! This restaurant was still in the soft opening phase and I think they did well for opening not too long ago. When you walk in, you see an array of coffees, teas, and creamers - lots of variety. The menu can be found above the cash registers and there's a lot to choose from! This is a franchise operation with this store being the 4th in the state of Florida. We ordered online (surprised it was an available option) and was able to pick it up with 15 minutes of ordering. The garlic bagel I ordered wasn't quite ready, so I opted to wait a few more minutes for it to be done baking. While I waited, I could see the cashiers working their way through the orders slowly as they seemed to be getting used to the new POS system. Customers didn't way too long, overall. My group ordered a Williamsburg, and pastrami egg and cheese. The garlic bagel with the Williamsburg felt a bit over baked as it was crunchy when I bit into it, and it wasn't supposed to be toasted either. I also asked for no onions, but there were still onions added. The pastrami sandwich was better, the bagel was a good chewiness and had good flavor with the everything bagel. Overall, not too bad. I would go back again to give it another try and I'm sure they will work out the kinks.

As a big bagel lover, I was excited to try the newly opened Brooklyn Water Bagel in Lake Nona. I visited on a Sunday morning, a naturally busy time, and while the place was packed, it had a nice atmosphere and was well-organized, especially for its first few days. Our Orders: I went for the classic: a plain bagel with egg, cheese, and bacon. My husband ordered the same with sausage on an everything bagel. I really liked the iced coffee cubes idea—it keeps the flavor strong without watering down the coffee. Our order took about 15 minutes, which I felt was reasonable given the busy setting. Impressions: The presentation was good, and the fillings were tasty, with perfectly cooked egg and well-prepared bacon. However, the bagel itself fell short—it tasted a bit stale, which was disappointing for a staple I eat regularly. This may have just been an off day, so I’m planning to come back in a few months to see if there’s improvement. Conclusion: Despite my disappointment with the bagel itself, I enjoyed the vibe, service, and overall concept at Brooklyn Water Bagel and am hopeful about giving it another chance. I look forward to seeing more consistency, especially with something as essential as a fresh bagel.

I recently visited Brooklyn Water Bagel and spent $32.84 on a chicken egg bagel, turkey bagel, regular coffee, hashbrown, and a Heath muffin. While I understand that the place is new, and I wish it success, there are some things that need improvement, especially for the price. The bagels themselves were too firm on the inside, and the chicken and egg bagel tasted very bland with no real hint of condiments or seasoning. The hashbrown was quite disappointing—it resembled a store-brand “Great Value” hashbrown but without any flavor. As for the coffee, it was fine, but nothing special—it tasted similar to a coffee you’d make with “Coffee-Mate” creamer. The best part of the meal was the Heath muffin, which was tasty, but I’m not sure it’s enough of a draw to return for. Additionally, the layout of the restaurant was confusing. When you walk in, it’s hard to tell where to stand or who’s waiting to order. A bit more organization in that regard would improve the overall experience. I know it’s a franchise and had time for planning, but for bagels at this price point, I expected more. Hopefully, some tweaks are made as they settle in!

I hate to do this being a business owner myself but this place has lost its touch very quickly. In the beginning the owners were involved and there and things were running somewhat smoothly. However, today I went in and the place was in a bit of shambles. The person working behind the counter was pleasant. I ordered a bagel sandwich with egg and bacon with cheese and medium coffee. The place was very dirty especially by the coffee bar along with the floors. There were several machines out of order and another machine missing a product completely.

When I did get my bagel sandwich the bacon was missing so I had to send it back. They simply place a slice per side onto the bagel and handed it back to me. The egg was not edible. I'm not sure what it was made of but it tasted nothing like real eggs. I was surprised they messed this order up because they were not even busy.

To the owners- You have a very good thing going here in Lake Nona but I feel like without your oversight, the quality and cleanliness of the this place is going to go down hill very quickly. If you are going to serve breakfast sandwiches, do so with quality food that is cooked and prepared correctly. Please do not try to cut corners because it does show. If not, just stick to bagels. Your staff is always pleasant which I can appreciate but I feel like whoever is running the show in the back may not be exactly...

I’ve been a frequent visitor to the Winter Park location of Brooklyn Water Bagels and was excited to try the Narcoossee Road spot, hoping for the same quality. This was my third visit, and unfortunately, it solidified my disappointment. On my first two visits, the bagels tasted stale, as if they’d been sitting out overnight. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but today’s experience was the final straw. I ordered a Jersey Boy on an everything bagel, took it to my car, added some ketchup, and dug in. Once again, the bagel—the star of the show—was underwhelming, lacking the fresh, chewy texture I expect from a true Brooklyn-style bagel. Curious, I went back inside to ask the young lady at the counter if the bagels were baked fresh on-site. To my shock, she informed me that they don’t bake bagels at this location; they come in frozen. This is a stark contrast to the Winter Park location, where fresh baking is part of the experience. I’m deeply disappointed to learn that Brooklyn Water Bagels, a place that prides itself on authenticity, is serving frozen bagels at this location. It feels like a betrayal of the brand’s promise. Until they bring fresh baking to Narcoossee Road, I won’t be returning. Save your money and head to Winter Park for...
