Lake Nona, FL. Update, 10/28/24: Alejandra is amazing! She made us feel welcome, made fantastic coffee creations, bussed tables, remembered our orders correctly, and said goodbye. Music was a mix of American and Latin hits. This is our second visit and Steve wants this on our regular rotation.
Original review, 10/14/24: Huge entrees, meh coffee (too much milk), good ambiance, great service, clean, cute.
My Caprese salad was ginormous and loaded with fresh ingredients. I requested they leave off the balsamic vinegar and it came out perfect. Adorned with thick slabs of fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, superb pesto, great extra virgin olive oil, and a healthy spring mix, it was enough for two meals. I didn’t need to salt it because the pesto drizzle was generous enough.
Steve liked the ham, cheese, and egg croissant. It was a good croissant, which made for a great sandwich.
The Mochaccino and my Cappuccino were both more milk than coffee in flavor. But they were super cute with coffee art.
Music was Daddy Yankee and other fast paced hits that got louder after we sat down.
Our server was bilingual, pleasant, chatted with us, checked on us, got our orders right, and had a...
Read moreThis is one of our favorite places around Lake Nona! Some people said in other reviews that the prices are too high but I disagree. 2 large gelatos come out to $10- not $18 like someone else posted. The quality of the food, pastries, and gelato is really great. The cuisine is authentic and so yummy! Macaroons are amazing and it's the only place around here you can find them! They have a large variety or crepes which are all super delicious! I love the Fruit and Brie crepe and, of course, all the Nutella varieties! Also, paninis are great! The focaccia bread is my favorite. The only critique I have about 407 is that you shouldn't expect restaurant type service. Not that it's bad, but the staff is a bit younger and can sometimes be slow, partially due to the fact that they only have two crepe makers. All in all, we love 407! Highlights are the gelato, macaroons, and crepes! We continue to call 407 one of our favorite spots for...
Read moreAmazing local place for quick breakfast. Gelato galore!!! They serve bagels, croissants, paninis and crepes!! The salmon sandwiches are the real star. We have gotten both savory and sweet crepes. I have only discovered this place a few weeks ago and have already gone 4 times! When ordering your breakfast panini or crepe, it can be wise to specify that you want salt and pepper before they sear it. Not sure if you have a hungry appetite and usually crave pancakes and potatoes that you will be satisfied but you can order multiple items. The service is excellent and so is the price. Still can't believe they have pumpernickel bread available. Seriously good eats here. Great location, can be tough to find parking though. Happened 3 out of 4 times we had to drive around. But totally worth it! Fresh, hot and tasty dishes. Amazing gelato and a variety of pastries. Lovely spot for breakfast...
