Josie's Pizza & Wings-MetroWest — Restaurant in Orlando

As I've moved from one part of Florida to another, I've been looking for a good pizza haunt and I want to say that I'm not disappointed and I'm pleasantly surprised. This place is quaint and quiet, it seems like it might get rowdy on game days/nights but we stopped by on a Monday evening where the dine-ins were sparse. However, the walk ins for delivery or pick-up were jumping.

We stopped by for a quick bite at a local place as supporting local businesses is very important to us- the staff was friendly and kind and the food...YUMMY The wings were huge, the variety of sauces offered was nothing short of impressive and you could add garlic to any sauce. Normally, pizza places offer a handful of sauces and they're usually all the same in terms of place-to-place. Josie's offers unique and tasty sauces on large delicious wings at a very reasonable price. We indulged in the hot honey sauce!

As for pizza, we chose to go with the BBQ chicken pizza (a specialty) but substitute the peppers for olives and the mushrooms for jalapenos. The pizza came out in reasonable time and I was impressed with how fresh everything tasted, even the chicken on the pizza- although fried was still juicy.

Throughout our meal, the staff attending our table was kind and kept up with refills and asked about our meal regarding satisfaction. We did our best to let them know everything was delicious and they both lit up with happy smiles when we told them.

The staff seems to really care about the food they make and as someone who has worked in food, nothing makes me happier than people who take pride in what they prepare,cook, or serve.

This place has god awful customer service! We placed an order for delivery and were given an eta of one hour. They show up in 20 min and the person with cash to pay isn’t home from work yet. Come to find out, the driver could have suggested I call the store and pay over the phone with my card. But he did not suggest that, instead he just left with the pizza. So I order another pizza and pay over the phone, but buy a different size than what was ordered (unbeknownst to me) We continue with ridiculous phone tag over the phone bc now everyone is confused bc two pizzas of different sizes are out for delivery. The delivery man clearly had no idea of the option of calling to pay over the phone when he left with the pizza. So we just ask for the large because of the inconvenience and they say no, we paid for the medium. Yes, I did, but i WOULDVE paid for the large had I been given the option! So we wait forever for a pizza when the simple solution wasn’t suggested and then get both pizza’s delivered. Once again, the delivery man has no idea what’s going on or which pizza to give us. We were told not to take the large so we are honest and take the medium and it’s missing a topping! We run out to see if the large is correct and it’s not correct either. I took the large because at this point it’s absolutely ridiculous! I call them to get a refund on the extra topping and she proceeds to argue with me that yes there is a second topping and even with all the inconvenience and miscommunication, they refuse the do anything for us or even refund our missing topping. (Glad I took the large) I’m so disappointed with our service tonight because overall the pizza quality is still really good but I won’t be ordering from...

Delivery driver showed up at my house after 25 minutes when i was told the wsit would be 45. No big deal. Went to go get the tip and he showed up. Called me asking if it was the right house and i said yes i would be right there. Explained to him id be right there i just wanted to tip him. Showed up 2 minutes later amd he was gone. I called him asking what happened because i just went to get his tip and he said he couldnt find my house... even though we just discussed on the phone he was at the correct house an id be right there. I understand where i messed up but i just wanted to be able to tip the guy. After consistantly telling thr guy IT WAS THE RIGHT HOUSE all along he still kept telling me he couldnt find it. So okay. If its that difficult ill get food elsewhere. What irritated me the most is when i called to have the order canceled i was HUNG UP ON. After he left my house ans went back to the restaurant i was not interested in him coming all the way back.. he had originally gotten to my house over 20 minutes ago id rather not spend 27 dollars on cold food. So frustrated with the fact i was hung up on. Not professional at all. Wish i would have gotten the womens name. but ya know.. hung up on. I dont understand why this was so stupid in the first place but i know to order delivery elsewhere....
