Not that long ago I had praised this location for being fast and accurate. When I was in a time crunch I knew I could stop here for a quick bite and not have it turn into a hassle.
Unfortunately that seems to have changed in recent months. I don't know if they have new management or crew or whatever...but the last 3 times I have come here to pick up food have been a nightmare. The app strongly suggests using curbside pickup if you have a large order. I also like curbside because I can check my order before driving away, unlike in the drive-thru.
I have sat in the curbside parking spot each of the last 3 times for over 20 minutes before having to get out, go in the store, and wait in line for someone to eventually acknowledge my existence. After being ignored for several minutes, I finally have to actually loudly ask for help over the plexiglass divider since no one is ever at the counter. I then notice that one of the employees has a drink carrier matching my number of drinks so I head outside to ask if it's for spot 4, and it was. I take the food and check the order. There were supposed to be 4 sandwiches, 2 large fries and 2 cokes. No special orders or substitutions. A fairly straightforward and not huge order. Of course, 1 sandwich and a large fry are missing. So I have to go back inside and wait in line again and ask for the rest of my order. I never once get an apology for the fact that I've now been waiting at a mcdonalds for over 40 minutes to get my food....most of which is now stone cold.
So to say I'm furious that this is not just a one time thing, but a recurring event now every time I order, would be an understatement. The incompetence is mind blowing. I counted 11 employees working. So they weren't short staffed. When I arrived and checked in there wasn't a single car in the drive thru. So the only excuse would be perpetual technical issues or BAD STAFF/MANAGEMENT. I'm putting my money on the latter.
If you can, order at the location on Kirkman, or better yet, go elsewhere. The person waiting in line ahead of me said they had been waiting in spot 2 for over a half hour. The door dash delivery driver said she was waiting for over 15 minutes so far for her order. This is unacceptable. If you're suddenly not able to make fast food quickly, then ditch the drive thru and curbside and just do table service. If you can't count 4 sandwiches, 2 fries and 2 drinks and make sure that matches what's in the bag, then you should find a job that doesn't require any degree of accuracy or attention to detail.
Last complaint...no straws in the bag. Just to add insult to injury. Awful restaurant. Avoid...
Read moreUpdate Oct 13th 2025: depending on the time you come to this place you get either trash or food. I ALWAYS ask for my nuggets to be made fresh why? Because I hate the taste of refried, reheated, lamp harden food. I KNOW when you are giving me trash vs when you give me REAL chicken nuggets. So in my order today around 5 pm I asked my usual fresh chicken nuggets, large fries and large COKE (this is important) by the time I make it to the window THERE IS NO COKE! Also they give me my order and I check my nuggets and surprise surprise they are HARD (hot, sure) but HARD! And also burned (like dirty oil burned) I ask them to give me fresh one and the girl at the window inmediately comes back with THE SAME NUGGETS and I'm like are you serious? Then she says sorry pull to the line ahead is everything else ok? And as I am moving I taste 1 fry at the top and it was hot and i said sure, then I tasted 2 more and SURPRISE AGAIN they are cold and soggy! So its pretty clear these people can't handle orders or the rush of the afternoon. I must say if you come here at night its different but AVOID during reg hours!!
Update as of Jan 10th 2025: the person tending to the window is the rudest human being alive! I asked for fresh chicken nuggets they AGAIN gave me trash I TAKE A BITE IN FRON OF HER AND SHE SAYS TO MY FACE I DIDN'T TRY THEM TRY AGAIN! ARE KIDDING ME?! I AM TELLING YOU THE ARE HARD AS ROCKS AND YOU ARE DENYING TO ME THAT THEY ARE NOT REFRIED?! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND how this person continues to deal with the public and treats us like this! She has ZERO costumer service skills she should be FIRED! WORST OF ALL I think she is the "manager" poor people working with this monster.

Today I bought a Happy Meal and chicken nuggets and they gave me OLD CHICKEN NUGGETS AND RE-FRIED THEM! Hard as a rock couldn't even eat anything!
The lady answering the drive through is also the rudest yet!

This McDonald's is probably THE WORST in the whole area! I always order a fresh apple pie which takes 12 minutes to be made. I don't mind waiting even of they take 15 mins. However, tonight they made me wait 28 mins just to tell me that they never put the pie in and that they were going to take another 12 mins! They did offer a refund or a substitute but COME ON! Give a better costumer service, this is BS if you are changing shifts the 1st thing you do is check what is pending, why is there a car waiting, etc. I WORK FRONT AT A RESTAURANT so I know how it is! Read moreOMG i just went yesterday after a long day at the restaurant i work, with my husband and my child that i just picked up from the baby sitter. Was around 1- 1:30 am, they took our order but they didnt say nothing like "ok drive to the window number 1 or 2", i was waiting to she said something back while a line started former behind my car and i decided drive to the first window and see if someone had took my order or not.The window 1 was close, the window 2 a nice lady said she couldnt get the payment and my order and told me to come back to the window 1, it was closed still and my family and i were waiting for about 10 minutes till some one shows up after i honk the horn couple times. Unbelivable ,such a rude person that said she was a "manager"there showed up in the window with a lot arrogance, she said she wouldnt get our order and just closed the window ! I WAS LIKE "whatta heck?"i never sow that in my life and i also work with hospitality and no matter how many personal problems i have , is my job keep a smile on my face and make a good service experience for my tables. IS DONE YET.... a lot of the cars probably had the same problem and they started leave instead wait, she called the cops for us leave the line, she didnt serve my family and other cars and she was very rude. I DEFFINELY NEVER GOING TO COME BACK TO THIS MC DONALDS AGAIN full of rude servers ... was the first in my life i had a problem with restaurant, and in my work experience "client is always right" if something went wrong inside, she should appologise and make our visit be a little better, if she is not happy if her job she should quit and find another job,because clients have nothing to do with her problems and im sure in the end of the month she has bills to pay like everyone else so do a decent job at least.... horrible situation, totally unnecessary! ps: I just rate with 1 star because you can't post a comment...
