I think it's time to write my annoyance here. We used to have Panera bagels for breakfast every Saturday as a family. We just moved to Lake Nona and found out we had one of your stores pretty close to 9607 Lake Nona Village Pl, Orlando.
I have visited your Drive-Thru a total of 4 times, and there have been a total of 4 errors that are not a coincidence, but a clear mismanagement of the labor system of this store, starting with the store managers.
The first 2 times they gave me my wrong and incomplete order and with a totally disrespectful. No one says good morning, they open the window to give you your order and close it immediately without even giving you a chance to check your order or at least say goodbye in a friendly way.
The third time (in a row), I decided to go back to the store because I had friends visitors, I ordered a total of 12 units and they only gave me 8. When I ask the manager how could this error have been possible if the receipt clearly says what is 12? She just made a gesture with her face and didn't say a single word.
Today, January 28, I'm going once more but already ready because of the distrust I have of them. I order half a dozen bagels, I specify how I want them, I move to the next window to which a boy opens the door who, as usual, does not say good morning, does not show absolute kindness on his face and just says the amount I have to pay. I make my payment, he hands me a bag and immediately closes the door without saying a single word. What I find most curious of all, is that this boy named Luis had a note under his name that said TEAM LEAD. Well, if that is the concept of service that a leader has, I don't know what to expect from the rest of the team.
The truth is, I come home to a half dozen bagels that could easily be 2-3 days old. No one at home could eat them because of how hard they were.
I wish this store could reinvent itself and represent the panera that we used to know because they really have good products. Therefore, I will look for other options for my breakfast...
Read moreFood is the same as you will see in any other panera, but customer service it's the WORST!!!!! if you care about having service for what you are paying for please do not come to this place. I used to go to this place every weekend and choose to come to this location since I was near by. Let me tell you something...even though English is my second language I'm sure I speak properly and people can understand what I'm saying. I'm a graduate school student and to be in a part of any higher level education in the US you have to have specific English requirements to be part of it. So my story....I got ready in line to place my order in the drive thru and the person (who took my order) decided to call somebody else without telling me anything about it. Another person came "to take my order" she said sorry and call somebody else without telling me anything. Then a third person came and she suddenly start speaking Spanish, without asking me if I needed assistant with a translator or if i did speak Spanish. I cancel my order and could hear how the employees where laughing and making fun of me and my accent when I placed my order. I decided to park to speak to one of the managers. The manager came, I explained him and told him my experience and he just heard me and said. Thank you for letting me know tonight we are having a meeting and I'll make sure I'll bring this up. I know how hard it's to learn a second language because I took 4 years of Spanish. He did not apologize, he did not care to solve the problem or to make sure I leave happy and consider the possibility to go back to this place after this experience. He did not even ask me if I wanted to place the order with him. So in my case, I won't go back to this place or any panera because I expect them to provide me a good service, so I wont waste my time, and money...
Read moreI've been to this location a few times and mainly just had bagels and had okay experiences. The last two times I got lunch to go and have been severely disappointed. Last time, no croutons for my soup, no side and no spoon, luckily I was heading home anyways but outside of utensils, it was a major bummer when I got home. Today, similar experience. The woman working at the register seemed frazzled when she needed a large amount of change for a customer in front of me. The manager ended up bringing it over in the middle of taking my order and she finished while the other girl went to a different register. While she did mention that they needed change, it seemed like a bad time to do/switch positions in the middle of a customer ordering. I also ordered a bagel and if I hadn't asked for it, neither of them would have gotten it. (This seems like a common thread even when I've just ordered one or two bagels before, almost forgotten by the time I pay) As for my lunch, yet another time with no utensils or croutons, I checked for the side before I walked out this time so I knew that was there. Really disappointing experiences. I used to work at a Panera in high school and ended up managing a Philly location a few years ago, so even though I know Panera has changed some processes and this is a different franchise, I think the quality of training/customer service could be improved on in this location, especially since there was just one other person ordering inside when I was there. Quality of food is okay, but also seems to have declined over the last few years (of course, this is not this locations fault). Otherwise, the location is clean and seems well maintained and I like the outdoor patio. I have not been through the drive thru so I cannot speak to the experience or...
