Went to Wawa as a regular customer. Grabbing late night food and placed 2 orders around 11:45-12. I ordered 2 separate orders and shipped around while I waited for my order to be ready. I hear my order number and go to grab it and buddy with a hairnet behind the counter tells me I have to pay for my order before I grab it. No problem. As I complied to go carry through with paying for my order (because Iām aware the area isnāt the best so I assume that he directs everyone the same way. When I came back to grab my order the worker went to looking around acting lost like he didnāt just call my order out. Come to find out after making it seem like it was a huge deal for me to pay for my order before I grab it he gave my order to another customer. I had no problem purchasing my sandwich as I was still shopping around the store but the employee wanted to act as if it were policy that I pay for my sub first (which has never been expected from me at any other Wawa) and ended up having to make me a new sandwich due to his mistake not even a sorry. It doesnāt end there. The replacement sub was rushed and thrown together so much so that my wife took a bite of her sandwich and its paper in the middle of the sandwich causing her to choke. Based off the nasty attitude of the people making the food at night I feel as if thereās no way a ripped piece of paper ended up in the middle of my wifeās sandwich on accident. Went in there for a simple door dash pick up/delivery order & the main woman in that sandwich section was so nasty so rude so unprofessional so dismissive, just AWFUL. I showed her my phone with the name for the order & repeated it at least 5 times. Idk if shes blind & deff or just a neglegeant person in general but the fact that the order was sitting in front of her the whole time & couldnt hand it over until i talked to another employee in the smoothie section is pathetic. This lady was more concerned about being on her phone than she was worried about her job & all the people waiting in front of her. She didnt even remove or change her gloves while texting away dealin with everything except the customers. When she finally gave me my order so i could deliver, i called the store to speak to a manager about this TERRIBLE experience & they had me on hold for 15mins before i decided to hang up. These people just really dont care about the ones who pay their rent smh. Wish i could give no stars....

~1am the cashier helped a woman get the item she needed behind the counter but made her do the rest of her items on the self checkout. I got in line as she was moving to the self checkout not knowing thatās what the cashier was doing and was met with a miserable attitude. I felt bad because I thought maybe I was keeping her from doing something but then I remembered as I walked in, and while she was helping the woman she was just on her phone typing away. When I left another man got in line and was completely ignored. By the time I got well outside the building she was still typing and ignoring him. AirPods in clear as day. I get itās overnight but no pleasantries what so ever? I drive all night all over Florida and Iāve never had a bad experience with a Wawa.
