I came to eat with my family after Sunday service, it was my mom, my little sister, my 13 year old niece, 8 year old niece, 6 year old nephew, 2 year old niece, and I. We came in and were immediately greeted by Robin and Emily, we told them 6 and a highchair even though my nephew and niece barely counted since they’re tiny. Robin and Emily told us we can sit at two different booths, and offered to add a chair to a booth for us. We told her ‘it’s fine, they’re tiny we’ll be fine’. Robin seated us and got us a high chair and utensils. After a moment of being seated I hear a back and forth between Jolyn & Robin where Jolyn was saying ‘It’s five people to a booth’ and ‘We shouldn’t be sitting there’, it was clear that my family sitting there had bothered her A LOT. this back and forth went on for a minute then Jolyn came up to our table and tells us ‘we can’t have six people in a booth’. I ask her if the two little ones counted as two people and she said yes. I ask Jolyn ‘what solution can we come to’, she repeats that we can’t have 6 in a booth, I then repeated my question twice more and Jolyn continued to repeat herself. Since for some reason she couldn’t tell us a solution I asked her ‘Is the solution for some of us to go to a different both’ and she then repeated herself again. After that I just decided to move with two of my littles to a different both with Robin as our server, she apologized and delivered excellent service. Read moreWanted to give a special thank you to the crew working the friday night shift (4/14). There were only 2 of you and you both handled yourselves professionally with a lobby full. Every table was sat and the waitress still approached every table with a smile.
The cook prepared the food so good, i meant to throw him a tip personally but forgot.
These 2 did a wonderful job remaining professional even when one table got obnoxious and started yelling at the staff. Their complaint was that it was taking the waitress too long. What was obvious to everyone is that every table in the place was sat and most had recently come in. The server was doing a great job. This table just had no patience.
Coincidentally, I ran into a gentleman who happened to be at this waffle house during this time the next day. He also mentioned how wonderful the staff was and how they handled the one table professionally. He too mentioned that the cook prepared his food perfectly.
These 2 employees deserve a bonus and a raise. I hope the owner of this waffle house reads this and recognizes them both. I didnt catch their names, but friday night 4/14...

Went to eat there this morning 5/13/24. a table came open so my husband walked over by it to hold for us. This server a red head I believe her name was Lisa yells across the whole busy restaurant at my husband to go back & sit until she cld get over there to wipe it down. Embarrassing my husband & pissing me off. Absolutely 💯 rude & uncalled for. But another lady came over & stood at another dirty table & didn't scream at her to go sit down. 🙄 She better be glad my husband kept me from going off on her. I did not want her to b our server but she was. 🤬 my eggs were not over medium pretty much well done,toast had been sitting for idk how long cold & hard.
