Came in around 5pm on 1/27/2024, and walked up to the counter. No greeting. I said Hello and started to tell the person behind the counter what I would like. She responds with "I'm actually in the middle of an order." I say no problem, I can wait. I figure it would be a couple of minutes. It was well over a 10 minute wait. She never said how long it would be, or a "thank you for your patience" after. I think she purposely went slow, because my sandwich was made rather quickly, when it finally got made.
She placed my sandwich in a bag, at this point I hadn't even swiped my card yet. Instead of a "thanks, have a nice day", "thanks for your patience" or "do you want your receipt?" she just goes back down the counter to wait on the next person. Not a word to me. I could have (and should have) just grabbed the sandwich and left without paying and it wouldn't have been noticed.
On the plus side, the sandwich was good. A manager or another worker should give this person training on basic customer service. I've been in here 2-3 other times with a different person with no problems at all. If I stop in here again (unlikely) and see this same person, I will certainly turn around and take my...
