I've been to Nest three times and each time my order has been either epically messed up or I needed to walk them through the process. For example, today I went got food (which was prepared wrong), but even more surprisingly when I ordered my "single shot latte" they ask, "shot of what?"
Also, I got to coffee shops to hang out and relax so each time I've frequented Nest I have specifically ordered "For Here. In a mug please" and each time I have received my drink in a togo cup.
I could continue to tell of more mishaps (wrong drinks, employees not knowing basic drinks, dirty utensils, or hearing employees in the back speak of my husband when he had to return something), but I still really really want to like Nest. It is an absolutely beautiful little coffee shop, with all the right aesthetics, great location, a wide selection of milks (soy, almond, etc.) - which I greatly appreciate, gorgeous baked good, but unfortunately the employees have NO idea what they are doing. Please please please start listening to customers when they are ordering and pleeease train staff how to prepare basic hot drinks (lattes,...
Read moreI am a doordash driver in the area. And I had been to this location several different times in the past week. But today, I had been in to get deliveries 3 separate times within an hour and a 1/2. The 3rd time I came in I went straight to the counter where they put the completed orders, and I stood there for 15 minutes. Finally, I spoke up and asked if there was a doordash order and then one of the workers asked what the name was and I told her the customer's name. Then she went behind the counter and grabbed the order and put it up in front of me and walked away. I then asked has this been ready the whole time? And they said yes. I said OK, I wasn't happy. Then one of the women asked me if I had said anything when I arrived and I said no but this is the 3rd time I've been in this same morning you would think one of the FIVE women working there would've asked if I needed help at the very least. Not ONE of them even made eye contact with me. Seems management needs to have some training on customer service. Not impressed with this...
Read moreWe just left this location about an hour ago The young lady that was working there looked less than thrilled to be working or serving or existing for that matter We ordered an almond smoothie and a chai latte iced with oat milk My daughter got to the iced chai.
My smoothie had a ginormous chunk of frozen banana at the bottom of it no big deal I ate it whatever....
Meanwhile, my daughter asked for the oat milk AND received dairy, she didn't think anything of it drank it and now she's literally keeling over in pain because of the lactose intolerance side effects she's having with a dairy-filled drink. A lot of my family is allergic to dairy This could have gone in so many different ways - I'm just really glad my daughter is not anaphylactic. This place is kind of cozy and cute. Maybe hire somebody with a little more personality and who can listen. Usually, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, BUT YOU DO NOT PLAY WITH FOOD ALLERGIES OR SENSITIVITIES. I've worked in hospitality most of my career. This is no bueno....
