Staff is friendly and polite, helpful. Service fast. The French toast sticks were very fresh and were quite good. Sliders (in this case doubles) a mixed bag, however. As I was ordering lunch menu at 9:30 am, it was quite pleasing that they allowed it, something not every fast food will do. Since there wasn't an expectation that anyone would order sliders, it seemed reasonable to expect that they would be fresh made as well, which while true 5 days ago when I did the same thing the first time, was not true on this visit. Previously the double slider was very fresh, moist and tasty, this time they were dried out, shrivelled up old things that were only marginally edible and very disappointing. I had to discard part of the hard bun as inedible. It had obviously spent too much quality time under a warming lamp. Though not likely, I could have imagined them as having been warmed over from the night before as even the cheese was contorted and dehydrated to something hard where it stuck out past the sad little bun, which was true on all sides. Read moreIt's sad when the cashier reads the order back correctly, but doesn't enter the order correctly. When I spoke with Jessica, the manager, she assured me the employees were trained well instead of acknowledging the issue. After repeating the problem 3 times, she finally realized it was the cashier's mistake. Instead of offering a refund for the uneaten food in front of me, she offered new food. I am not the type to send back my food for corrections, because who knows what will be served the 2nd time!!!!! Therefore, I took the food that I paid for and served it to my dog.
I will say what was on the receipt was served correctly, but was NOT what I ordered.
The manager Jessica does not pay attention to detail. She talks before listening to the problem and solving the initial issue. Then she trys to make you feel like it is your fault the employee isn't doing their job accurately. Once you repeat yourself enough times for the whole restaurant to hear, she will acknowledge what you are saying, repeat it, and then change the subject to how well the employees are trained. I order a large combo and ask for their new “hand crafted lemonade” but I ask for light on the ice because I don’t like super cold drinks when it’s cold out, brobro tells me “we can’t do that…. And the lemonade comes in 1 size…”
Let me tell you what. This is a kids cup that is 90% Ice and it’s not even filled to the top!!!! I could understand if this place was cheap but it’s literally 30$ for two sandwiches and a drink!
Carl’s Jr. being stingy over 3 cents of juice is the most 2023 thing to happen to me this year.
If you’re into paying 8$ for 3 sips of lemonade- this is the place to go. The little kids on the corner lemonade stand don’t even hustle me this hard.
