We have eaten here 3 times. The first time was on point. I like a crisp Cesar salad it was awesome. Calizone was amazing and the cheese and pepperoni chese sticks were super yummy. Second time my salad was wilted an pretty lifeless and our small pizza was great! Third time salad was just as the time before wilted and not great, we ordered the chicken and bacon with white sauce just to try something different. It came out about 10 minutes after ordering.... I was shocked that's fast! Especially since there were lots of tables full and people waiting in line ordeing. Our pizza was Doughy and chewy the chicken was chopped and very obvious it was frozen not grilled or fresh, the beacon pieces were tiny and hard resembled baged beacon bits. We also ordered a chicken grinder sandwich. The same chicken chunks and other ingredients were not enjoyable at all. We enjoy the fun environment and good music the servers are always very friendly. Would be great if the food was tweeked just a bit. Fresher ingredients especially with how much we pay. Salad, large pizza, grinder and 3 drinks was 80 bucks and tip. We like to support the local smaller owners however sometimes it's nice to just know what to expect with the larger chains. My advice..Spend a little more time to make a decent pie. Cook the chicken before slapping in on the items in the menu, also bake it longer to get a good crispy crunchy bite. Trust me we don't mind paying for pricier pie even if it takes 10 minutes longer, to leave...
Read moreWhen I arrived the guy was finishing up a customer, who was upset and had his order done I correctly at some point. Upon my engagement, the guy did not take my order that was called in ahead of time. When a coworker came over to offer assistance, he ended up arguing with her and was very passive aggressive toward her attempts to help him and engage with me to resolve the issue. He then asked if he could take my order, to which I said I would need to call to find out. Five minutes later he asked again as I was attempting to obtain the original order and received the same answer and slightly annoyed at not listening to me the first time. After finding the order, I engaged with the female from earlier and had no issues with her. She even double checked on the back to verify there was nothing on hold or written down. While waiting for the order, the first guy came up and asked for my name for the order... Even though there was just me and one other couple in the dining area. I gave him my name but felt that was a little unnecessary since I was there in person and it wasn't busy. To note as to the other customer after me, he messed up their order to which they were very accommodating but noted that they visited once a week every week so was unsure as to the difference this time to prior visits. Overall, the customer service by the front guy was not great and I'm not sure how someone 'loses' an order, esp when it's not busy. I ordered regardless because it was requested by friends...
Read moreWe stopped in on a Sunday evening because we hadn’t been in a few years. I was expecting a long wait for our food as they were busy because they are one of the few restaurants open on Sunday evenings in the little town. We ordered a large & a kids pizza. Our food came faster than expected. I soon realized it was because it was undercooked. The bacon must have been precooked, it was fine, however the other toppings were barely hot & it was swimming in sauce. The crust edges were cooked on top, however it’s folded over to look thicker & the bottom was a soggy, doughy mess. There was barely any cheese on either pizza & when we took a slice from the pan to our plates the sauce just slid everything off the pizza. Even the kids pizza with one topping (pineapple) lost its toppings. I was so disappointed our experience had not been the same as it was a couple of years ago. The 3 stars is entirely for the gal behind the counter taking orders. She had a line but kept a smile and friendly attitude the...
