Came from out of town and were expecting some good barbeque. We went during lunch and had the special which we both believed to be rib pieces with Mac and cheese on the side. Instead we received a bowl of Mac and cheese with tiny tiny pieces of meat in it. The macaroni and cheese was sour and lacked any cheesiness. Worst I've ever had! The only taste came from the minute pieces of meat which had a horrible flavor. We went straight home afterwards and both of us got sick. On top of that we played hell trying to check out. I stood up at the register to pay for at least 10 minutes while the waitress would continue to show her face in and out of the kitchen but wouldn't help me. I finally went to the other side and asked to get help checking out. A different woman checked us out without our bill and we both think that we paid more than what our bill should of been, but we just wanted to get out of there. Horrible service, horrible food! Read moreI've heard a lot of rave reviews of the place, but the day I went it must not have been a good day. I got the ribs and my wife got the chicken. my ribs were pretty tough. I wasn't looking for "fall off the bone" but there was no give at all, I had to tear it off. My wife had the chicken and while the meat was moist, the actual skin was kind of slimy. The thing that gives this the 2nd star was the waitress...

I did not find the price at al outrageous or portions small. I can say there is nothing wrong with either. Its hard enough to run a restaurant in large cities with customers lined up out the door, let alone a small farm town. I think people need to understand the cost of maintaining a business in a low population area with most customers that leave pennies on the dollar for tips, maybe you should go across the street to...
