I don't know his name but the guy working the front register is a very good employee. McDonald's Corp. and management: If you're reading this you need to make sure they hold on to this guy. We visited the location in (Osceola, Iowa on 5/2/23 from 11:45-12:30). I heard him say he is 25 years old and he has a black ponytail. I worked in fast food for years. I was Asst. General Manager of one restaurant and at another I was Asst. Manager, so I know what to look for. This guy did everything right! Numerous times he exhibited going the extra mile when no one (i.e. manager or supervisor) was looking. This employee deserves to be noticed. Other qualities he exhibited were: •Greeting and thanks customers. •Worked with a smile. •Was patient and very polite. •Worked helpful and worked well with his fellow co-workers. •Knowledgeable of the menu. •Attentive •A natural go-getter. •Pleasant •Relatable •Friendly •Seemed genuinely happy to be at work. ... among others. I normally don't leave such a detailed review but I decided to today because this employee went above and beyond every fast food employee I have ever seen. McDonald's Corp. and management: If you are looking for a potential employee who is a "difference maker" and demonstrates a potential for longevity within your company, then look no further. This guy is exactly that.

Read moreWe went through the drive through on 8.18.23 and ordered a kids meal, big mac meal and 2 quarter lb deluxe meals. We paid but I had to ask for my receipt. Once we got our food, we went on our way. Further down the road, we realized that our order was missing a fry from the big Mac meal and the cheeseburger from the kids meal. No big deal. I can give my sandwhich to my kid to replace her sandwhich. We're to far down the interstate to turn around. Its our loss. But I tried to call the store to just give then a heads up and feedback just to be careful for the next person.
First, took 5 minutes to get through as the phone was constantly busy. Finally got through and someone answered. Didn't greet me. Didn't say "this is mcdonalds". I had to ask if it was McDonald's. The guy said yea. I said I'm not upset or expecting you to do anything but we were missing food in our order and just wanted to let you know. He didn't even respond. I was just hung up ok.
I can forgive forgotten food. I've worked at McDonald's as a shift manager. It happens but that treatment on top of my order being not fully complete is wrong. Please work on your customer service. My husband went through the drive-thru and had to pull ahead which isn't a problem but after waiting a half an hour with no drinks or food he finally went inside seen that there were alot of customers standing around waiting for their food as the employees were all just standing around doing nothing but laughing & having a good ol'time while everyone's food is sacked and just sitting there not being handed out to customers. Some customers asked for their money back while others just walked out after my husband spoke up he finally received his food which we should of asked for our money back because the food was ice cold drinks were watered down because the ice had melted from sitting so long no expresso shot in my watered down cold coffee my husband said his meat was so cold it tasted almost frozen the meat on my sandwich tasted gamey. We have also noticed that within the last year Everytime we go to this McDonald's we're always changed a different price for the exact same meals we always buy sometimes it's more very rarely it's less but never the same price.
