If you want the biggest POS, waste of space, good for nothing of a pizza place, here it is. We go in to order some slices with plenty of time to close and are told they can't make a new pizza so we have to get what's on the case. This is totally fine, I get it. And we do just that. They were out of Garlic knotts, and she will NOT sell a fountain drink. Odd, but I understand, it's an hour to close on a nice weekend. The issue? No Combo's, No Substitutions, no crushed red pepper shakers just a get out of my lobby hostile environment. We ordered 4 slices, 2 premium and 2 basic cheese + a 2 liter of pop. We were (over)charged for 4x premium slices + pop. An annoyance to say the least
So why all the fuss? It's the asinine, I'm better than you attitude, college staff working behind the counter, specifically the gal we dealt with. No manners, visibly annoyed that customers even exist, couldn't have cared about anything less, willfully overcharge you, and only want you out of their lobby so they can get back to doing what, nothing, because they're still open with everything already cleaned up.
What a joke. Don't waste your time at...
Read moreI usually love the pizza here. Tonight though I ordered a half Mac and cheese and half florentine pizza. Online the ingredients listed in the florentine pizza are vegetarian but after I started eating the pizza I noticed there was chicken on it. There are also big chunks of feta so it wasn't noticeable to me at first. I called to tell them about the problem and they said there was nothing they could do because I had already eaten some of it and they would be losing money. I told him I'm losing money cause now I can't eat half the pizza I just paid for. Finally he offered me one free slice. I don't exactly see how one free slice is supposed to equal the 4 slices that I can't eat because of the chicken. Not to mention I accidentally ate some of it which as a vegetarian is a bit disgruntling. I'm really disappointed in the way the situation...
Read moreI grew up with Politos, always eating it when I was little, and my brother and sister worked there and talked about it, so there's a little bit of nostalgia whenever i go there. The pizza slices are very big, and are really cheap despite how delicious they are. You can get 2 slices of pizza and a t-shirt for $10 which is a pretty good deal. They have arcade games and claw machines for a little entertainment while you wait for your pizza to be made. One complaint that i have (and I'm really nitpicking here) is that the atmosphere is just a little bit empty and boring, but other than that just about every aspect is good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and would...
