I got married over a month ago and I’m still very upset with how the venue handled my wedding. The venue staff/organizers lack communication skills very badly. The venue booked the space the night before my wedding for a large event after I had told them at least 6 months prior that I’d like to do the rehearsal dinner at the venue. Kevin even went over details with me about where we could do dinner, how many guests would be coming, etc. They allowed us to come in for a short period of time to rehearse the ceremony on the day before and it was very rushed. Due to that our DJ didn’t get to see the space and do a walk through before the actual day of. Our DJ actually tried to contact Kevin for weeks to see the space and no reply. My husband had the same issue with Kevin, simply just no reply. I wasn’t able to decorate the night before and I didn’t get to use half of my decorations because I was rushed THE MORNING OF to set up the entire place AND get ready. Kevin was the main point of contact until about 3 weeks before the wedding and every single time my husband and I met with him he asked us what our names were, the date of the wedding, if we’re doing ceremony and reception, etc. because he couldn’t be organized enough to know. He also was clearly upset and rude to us when we told him that we were going have a photographer and DJ that wasn’t associated with Venue 404. On top of that, the actual “event coordinator” did not show up to our first scheduled meeting that was going to go over final details and times. This venue spends so much time posting on social media about how they will make planning a wedding so easy and you’ll have the wedding of your dreams, but I didn’t have either of those things. In my opinion, they just want your money and don’t care about the actual bride and groom’s experience.
I’d like to add that although the venue has AC, it was very very hot.
With all that being said, the event staff that was there on the day of my wedding did a good job and were professional. The catering went smoothly and the bartenders were great. The space is beautiful and all that but I would have absolutely never done my wedding here if I knew what kind of shitty experience I was...
Read moreBest place to have a wedding or any other event you need hosted! I cannot speak enough how amazing all the staff was, the whole planning process was so thorough, organized, and thoughtful. We used this venue for a pop up wedding and they had the perfect package deal I’ve ever seen. It was incredibly affordable, and they offered even more in that price point then we expected or even needed. To say they went above and beyond our expectations is an understatement. They blew us out of the water here. If anyone is considering a pop up wedding where you can avoid the stress, cut down the planning to just worrying about your wedding attire for yourselves and wedding party…. This is seriously the way to go.l, and your sign to DO IT. They took care of absolutely everything and were willing to customize any details we wanted to add, and made it easy and stress free. Several time I didn’t even care about details and I told them to do whatever and they managed to just make it beautiful and I loved that some things were a total suprise, and I was so impressed with everything I put in their lap. The pop up package is not only an absolutely incredible value you will not find anywhere else, but saved us so much stress and made it possible to truly just show up and be present in the moment and enjoy the day. I cannot thank the staff here enough for everything they did above and beyond for our day, especially when we feel like we darn near robbed them for the small price we paid for the priceless experience we...
Read moreWe attended a wedding there yesterday. The building itself is cool, but there is a musty smell that is evident when you walk in. Several in our party were coughing and sneezing by the end of the night. The bar in the vault in the basement was cool, and the bartender down there was very friendly. The bartenders upstairs were ok, and the drinks were just ok. I tried the old fashioned, a red wine, and a rum and coke. The old fashioned was not mixed well, the red wine glass I was given had lipstick from the previous patron on it, the rum and coke glass I was given was broken. I was not the only person to have to come up and show them my glass to ask for a new one due to it being broken. Overall, the quality and cleanliness just seemed to be in question related to their glassware. They did not place pitchers or even glasses for water during the dinner service. There is minimal parking in surrounding lots behind and across from the venue. There is no signage to indicate where you should park if you are there to attend a wedding. Overall, would not recommend and will...
