UPDATE. Aug 2025! Willy Ts you are still top of the list! Your staff is so friendly and hard working! The menu is so vast & delicious fresh meats, salads, soups, pizza, shrimp, whatever youre hungry for!-my new favorite is the bone in wings-dry rub ranch! To die for! Happy hr during the week3-9. Crazy!! but fun! Full bar, frosted glasses. Patio is so beautiful -overlooking the golf course with live music- watching golfers on 9 & 18! The place is so clean and tidy! You can tell Lisa the mgr takes great pride in her restaurant/bar! Great pub like feel yet up north look!, Again great staff -Jeff the bartender is always so funny!& on the ball! Low wait time if at all-pull tabs and E games if you feel lucky! So hey stop in this place has a great reasonable menu and amazing atmosphere! Ample parking

June 2023- new owners. Great staff and new mgmt I see…. Smiles hustle great music and menu! Now tables of 10 of course theres a much longer wait on food etc. So the claims below are possible but I have yet to hear or see any issues…. Maybe its the competition?? Either way the staff and food speak for themselves! Great atmosphere and golf is amazing too!

• I love how the bar tenders cater to the public IE people staying at the hotel, the people visiting for dinner and drinks maybe watching a game, they do not close and kick you out at a certain time - so yeah the bar area is open later.

Ok June-July 2022- we have all made it thru this 2 -3 yr. chaotic Covid reality. Willy Ts has also! Glad to see as we opened our nearby cabin; Willy Ts is just as awesome as it was before. Ok people this IS cabin resort country! Rustic clean up-north log/brick beautiful atmosphere! Great inside seating and large bar/tv area! Staff is just as awesome seems they have been able to keep their loyal employees very cool! Food is delicious! Thus again- its is an UP North resort area so YES the menu Will resemble that! So deal with it! If you want New York Pizza go to New York! But they have delicious pizza so no need! Also a gal from the RV park wondered in asking for cheese curds and yes they have them! Steaks yes! Pasta yes! Not a meat eater. Soups salads etc! Homemade and delicious! So hey I am happy to see our cozy yet fun place is great. Nay sayers go elsewhere…. Live music on their beautiful golf course facing patio is also amazing! The views from the patio wow! Alls I can say we cant wait to get up north from the cities every weekend! Yes this is an updated review and Yes you can review their current menu and specials! Oh FULL bar! Ample space for large groups.

Excellent food! Vast menu items! Late nite happy hr -drinks AND appetizers which are delicious! Live music in doors and outdoors! Omg have you seen their golf course side patio? Beautiful! What a joy to have all these New hours of fun! Darts & Pool table- pull tab booth; great food! Huge bar and seating area! Great staff! And music -what? & IN ottertail? Thank you Willy Ts for bringing nightlife back to cabin country! Great pricing and heck go golf or play in the Waterpark ! Just saying! We have been cabin owners over 20 years and fun has come & gone from establishments nearby due to ownership. Well the latest is WillY Ts which is clean; classy, and has a great product! This restaurant has so much potential to do better - atmosphere is comfortable overall but I put 3 stars for that because it got pretty loud in there when more people were around, but it wasn’t full in there by any means, nor was there music which means sound is carrying or echoing. The food is good overall, but is overpriced with up charges on a lot of the items. I was confused about the “walleye egg rolls” as there wasn’t actually any walleye in them. The pork quesadillas were great, and my kiddo loved the chicken tenders so much she got them almost every time. The starters we tried are all good food wise, but you don’t get much for what you’re paying. There isn’t much for vegetable choices unless you add your own items and ask about it (off menu). The chicken alfredo sauce could be better, it almost seemed like it’s the kind from a jar, so that was a little disappointing - but the grilled chicken was amazing. The cocktails are good, but overpriced, and martinis were very strong (too strong for me, but maybe not if you like that sort of thing). I love having the option to go outside like they have the patio seating, but it was a bummer that some hornets were bothering us (obviously out of their control, but still frustrating). Timing is very slow, it took over 3 hours one evening for 5 of us between waiting to order, and getting the tab. Staff are super nice / friendly but it felt like they are short staffed, or that the current scheduling isn’t meeting their needs. Our group stayed at the connected resort for 3 nights /4 days, eating here at least once per day. Sometimes it would be 3 staff to barely anyone there, then other times it would be a super busy place with barely any staff in sight. This is concerning the new Alexandria location. We made reservations at 6:30pm. We show up at 6:20pm. I had my whole family with which included 3 kids and 3 adults. It was opening night and it wasn't super busy. They seated us right away. We finally got a server at 6:52pm to order drinks. They definitely didn't have enough servers that night. We barely saw our waitress let alone to serve us but other people. I knew right away this wasn't going to work. We finally ordered our food 7:05pm. The kids are getting very anxious with no food to give them. No waitress to be found. I asked for prime rib. Sold out and then I ordered a steak medium rare and wife ordered porkchop just medium done. We finally get our food and both items were burnt and extremely well done. She looked at me like "will that work". Are you kidding me. Who eats steak like charred. The servings were extremely small and the prices were very expensive. There's plenty of other restaurants that would be way cheaper and food portions would be a lot more. I hope they figure that out. Wife and I never got to eat. I asked for my bill and it was 162.00. Definitely NO. I didn't even to get to eat. They finally discounted me 50 dollars and try to make me pay for beers I don't even received yet. Way over priced. Go somewhere esle. Alexandria has way better other restaurants. Don't even bother...
