These restaurants slide through the cracks by screwing up your order and then leaving the delivery company to take the fall for their shortcomings. The restaurants don't have to take accountability when you order a meal from THEIR restaurant after all the other restaurants you could've ordered from. I ordered a meal with a drink and my highlight was my Horchata that I DID NOT RECIEVE! The restaurant says, "contact DoorDash"! Do you know how upsetting and frustrating it is to place an order through a delivery company and NOT receive your complete order, wrong order or without something you asked for. Ma'am DoorDash is NOT responsible for you NOT sending my drink! First time trying this place and definitely the last. The fajitas had ok flavor. However, they do come with some kind of wheat tortilla that isn't mentioned and smells horrific. The rice and beans were bland and the salsa was without flavor. The sopapillas looked like it could've been pieces that were swept off the floor especially considering it was close to closing time. They lack the effort! I DO NOT recommend you eating here. So many other options available....

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I had to say something. The service at Dos Reales was honestly one of the worst I’ve had in a while. Our server had such a bad attitude—it felt like even she couldn’t stand herself. She was visibly annoyed, unapproachable, and barely communicative.

I ordered a margarita that was completely off—watery, sour, and just poorly made. I also asked for a Amaretto Sour drink and got blank stares like I was speaking another language. The food? Super greasy and just lacked flavor or care. Everything tasted like it had been sitting out and reheated.

What made it worse was the way they handle complaints or questions. It’s like no one there is trained to respond properly. You voice a concern and they either ignore it or shrug it off with no resolution.

And offering a free cheese dip in exchange for a review? That just feels shady. If the experience was genuinely good, you wouldn’t have to bribe customers for feedback.

I recently found the goodness of Dos Reales on Shawnee Mission Parkway via DoorDash a few months ago and have been in LOVE! I've been going to the OP location the past few times and my experience was not the same. My orders were consistently wrong and instead of complaining, I'd just go to another location and spend more money to have it done right. Saturday was different. I drove back up to this location to return the order and get a refund as I couldn't afford to pay 2 meals for one this time. Emmanuel, the manager I'm assuming, was not having it! He insisted on making my order right then and there and apologized profusely for the mistake even though I was not that upset to begin with. I was just disappointed. The food he had them remake for me was SPECTACULAR! It was the best steak burrito bravo and chicken Mexican street tacos I have EVER had!
