Went there this past Sunday for a late lunch. Went through the drive thru. Had no issues ordering or with the girl taking our money. Pulled up to receive our food. First thing they opened the window to hand us an ice cream cone, my husband says that’s not ours. She gives us a puzzled look and sits it in a holder by the window. A few minutes pass by and they open the window again to ask if we are the ones with 2 chocolate shakes, we reply with no we had 2 kids meals, number 1, and number 10. They close the window again. Come back a few minutes later “different woman now” asking are we sure we didn’t have the shakes. Uh yeah, we know what we ordered, we have our receipt, husband hands her the receipt and she looks then hands it back and closes the window. A young lady comes and brings us our chicken strip meal. FEW MORE MINUTES GO BY, a young man comes to the window and ask if we had the 2 shakes, by this point we are annoyed but amused at the same time. We reply with no and once again tell them our order. Then the older lady from before comes back RUDELY tells us it will be a few minutes for our French fries and to pull up around the corner and closes the window. We laugh and pull around. Waited there for maybe another 5 minutes and some woman brings out our bags, hands them to my husband, turns away while saying thank you and walks away. Literally no apologies were given for our ridiculous wait! One of the kids meals didn’t even have French fries. And the meals that did, they were cold and soggy so I’m not sure why we had to wait 5 minutes for them unless they were digging them from the garbage. I didn’t even bother calling to speak with a manager because I kinda assume the rude older blonde with glasses was probably it. Get...
Read moreWhat is our normal late night indulgence, turns into a somewhat bothersome journey. Seemingly our business is dwindling in aspects of importance.
NOTE: The First Gentleman in window one was a taller African American- polite and professional. Gave back accurate change with the receipt and wished us a blessed night.
Yet coming to window two, no words were spoken by Stoutly build lady wearing glasses and had her hair style as a bob, made sure that she knew we were no more than a number in her dreadful night. She handed out the food and first drink with no words spoken and shuts the window.
I see other shakes and drinks being worked on so just thought it was coming (we ordered a shake.) a few seconds past and the window opens. First word spoken at this point, is repeating the order in which we have already received minus the shake. I then confirm and say yes, that is correct; she then points her finger south words insinuating for us to pull forward. And I let her know, in case she forgot, that we have already received all of our food and drink, and we’re just waiting on a shake her response that was, “ yes, move.“
………. I’m done.
Yes move is a wild statement when you are clearly having bad night- especially the first words spoken to me; some people won’t take that as acceptingly as others. Lastly, before I even got around the corner successfully to put the car in park, the gentleman was already standing at the car window with the drink in hand. Confirming the fact, that my drink was indeed sitting there and already prepared.
Customer Service needs to be at the forefront of every business on a consistent basis. It’s just not worth it to have bad service nowadays....
Read moreI was at Braum's with my granddaughters for an hour! No one was available to do store check out so we waited in the ice cream line behind an elderly couple. No one was helping inside due to the drive-thru traffic. So after waiting, we went to attempt the drive-thru. That was a mistake. We waited another 10 min just to order. We got to the window only to have 1 item incorrect. They couldn't fix the order or the amount charged unless we went in. So we did. 1 ice cream melting and we find ourselves right behind the elderly couple STILL WAITING to get 2 cones. I couldn't believe it! I was furious. These two people standing still and patiently waiting to be acknowledged. I loudly requested service for them to be helped. I was watching 1 worker go on break, and the manager flirting with a few ladies. Ridiculous! He then found the time to help them. We were next. My young granddaughters were patient as the youngest with little restraint waited to be helped while watching her sister devour her cone. After the elderly couple was helped we later were. What a mess! I counted 5 people working the front at that time. Not sure how many are in the back or on a break. Behind the counter was a mess! Nothing was wiped down or cleaned up. EVERY ITEM RECEIVED IN A CUP WAS STICKY! They need to wipe them off. I was upset about...
