Was trying to feed my teenagers a late night meal. They agreed to the five dollar Biggie Bags which are now like $7 and $8. The Biggie Bags start at five bucks, but if you want the Jr Bacon cheeseburger version that's more, If you want the Crispy Chicken BLT version that's even more. The service was the big problem, I placed the order on my phone from the Wendy's app. I thought the kids would just drive over to Wendy's and pick the order up in the drive through. I had agreed to meet them at the nearby QT and buy them some gas. I was a few minutes behind them. I could tell from the 76th ST intersection that they were not at QT. I drove over to QT went around the building and found the kids waiting at the front of the line. This is for two value meals ordered in advance. Hey, what's the deal?! I noticed the line wasn't moving much at all, but still this is supposed to be fast food. I drove on overnight to QT thinking, their food would be ready any second. Oh BTW I had time to stop and talk to the kids for a minute or two before I went to the gas station. Nothing matriculated. Then I actually walked from QT over to Wendy's and asked the kids what was going on, saying, I thought this was supposed to be fast food! My girl actually works for a Tulsa Whataburger and has worked for Taco Bueno. She said she saw three people working. There may have been one dine-in customer, this little late night rush, was all drive-through. I couldn't see the nearby MCDONALD'S from there, but I would bet that they would not classify this as a rush. They would probably wonder where their customers were. If you guys can't handle an order for two Biggie Bags. Just hang up a closed sign. Wendy's has always been slower than McDonald's or BK, but has better food quality. BTW McDonald's is slower than they used to be. You would see a line wrapping completely around the building every morning, but it never stopped moving, now you actually put the car in park for a while or get told to pull up and wait like Wendy's did my...
Read moreAt 3:45 I went to Wendy’s in Owasso Oklahoma and ordered a hamburger meal. It was a simple hamburger and french fries. It cost me $10.88. I drove less than a mile from the Wendy’s to my office and opened my meal up …. My fries were ice cold… Not lukewarm, not semi warm, ice freaking cold! I set them aside. I opened up my hamburger (a simple cheeseburger) that was so disgusting that upon the I ate the second bite I thought I would vomit. Worst quality I’ve ever had! Just because you can take two cold buns and stick a piece of meat in it… does not make it a quality hamburger. And the fries I had were also cold. They may have been lukewarm when they handed it to me in my window… but 1MILE Down 76th St., North and walking into my office may be at Tops five minutes…. They were ice cold, and I had to throw them away. You need to check your heating lamp for your fries because you got it turned to either nothing or semi nothing.
I don’t normally go to Wendy’s because of the stories I’ve heard.. but today Brahms drive-in was closed. So I was forced to find something quick so I could get back and finish my work. You wasted my time and with the quality you gave me today you should be shut down. Maybe you make good Frosty’s but your food sucks. Your customers...
Read moreMy husband, children and I went in to Wendy's on a very rainy day. Upon walking through the door we were surprised to see that the floor was not being kept dry. So even though my family and I took the time to wipe our rubber boots on the rug, we still had to walk across a VERY wet floor to get to the counter to place our order. To make matters worse we quickly realized that the tile was covered in some kind of slippery film, that when mixed with water made for a very dangerous experience for customers. I can only assume that this film was Grease. while placing our order we informed the cashier about our experience just walking through the door and he responded by laughing and saying "I have non-slip shoes so I don"t have to worry about it". After we carefully made our way to our table and finished our food, we went to leave and of course my young daughter slipped and fell on the way out. Another older customer almost did in front of us. So I yelled up to the counter this time for the situation to be handled. A manager finally came over to examine the floor but didn't sound real convinced. I left not really knowing whether or not he would do anything but knowing I...
