Good Mexican food at a decent price. Chili Relleno; Beef Tamale and Beef Chimichanga are personal favorites. The dining area is exactly what you might expect: Traditional Mexican flair complete with centrally-located cantina. Overall, it's a clean and cozy atmosphere. Never really been in love with the staff because they usually seem like customers are just a little too much trouble to be bothered with. That was certainly the case on our last visit when I had to wake our server from his afternoon siesta to ask for the check. Oh well. Times are tough and the work days are long.

Overall, I'm happy enough to keep coming back time and time again, and we're happy to have a decent Mexican restaurant that's faithfully open for business to match their posted days and hours of operation. That's actually saying quite a lot in Owensville. Oh...and their complimentary chips and salsa (included even with carryout) are first-rate. Their queso blanco dip is even better on the days that they don't water it down. Thanks...

Hubby and I went there thinking it would be good. He got the al carte chicken tacos, asked for grilled chicken, cheese and light lettuce, came out with... just grilled chicken... ok he can live without lettuce and we got white cheese for our chips, he used that. I got the 3 tamales.. love them. Not so much tonight... tasted spoiled.. he asked if all was alright, I said no, it tastes spoiled, don't know if its the meat or the sauce, didn't ask me if I wanted anything else or anything, just took it away. The service at this establishment proved exactly what I expect at most Mexican restaurants, fast and attentive. Their specials were great including an alcohol special and a lunch special. The food was great and the atmosphere was quiet, clean, and uncrowded(surprisingly). The restaurant would have received my rare five-star rating except that the first server could not understand what I said when I asked about specials, but he did quickly get the boss who knew perfect English.
