Ocean Pearl — Restaurant in Oxford

This is my absolute favorite place to get Chinese food. Everything they cook is delicious, my favorite is the beef chow mein and the crab rangoons! They always get it cooked fast and it's consistently good each time. It's the kind of food you dream about floating over your head in a little dream cloud at night 😆

Edit: I'm seeing a lot of reviews saying the food is small portions, gristly etc but that is genuinely not the case at all. I have eaten at this restaurant consistently for over 10 years and have never once been served an inadequate portion, cold food, or poor quality meat. This is food that I get frequently, and I can say with confidence that the only issue I've ever had is that sometimes my take out boxes leak. Some people just like to get that little high off of b*tching I think. Wouldn't be surprised if some of these people haven't even eaten here. Food was delicious but our waitress was quite rude. She took our drink order upon handing us the menus, returned 2 minutes later then seemed upset we werent ready to order. Food reached the table quickly and was delicious but the waitress came back maybe 10 minues into our meal and places the check on the table before asking if we needed boxes. We had barely begun to put a dent into our plates and 2 of the 3 of us were mid bite when she asked. One of us commented she was being rude (I swear I have never seen some be so polite and actually apologize while calling someone out on their rudeness like that) and she promptly ignored us the rest of the half hour we sat there. My husband and I have gone to Ocean Pearl several times within the past year. The food has usually been very good. However, the other night while having dinner at Ocean Pearl a terrible odor came through the restraurant. We spoke to the waitress/ manager about this and she told us they were washing the floors. The smell was making both my husband and I feel very sick. We immediately asked for the bill and when we went to the register to cash out I asked the waitress/manager if she would deduct some of the cost of the dinner which she was very rude and did not apologize or offer to do anything about this.
