ZaZa Grill — Restaurant in Pacifica

Where to begin… It was our first time and we’re so glad we stumbled upon this place while looking for a new dinner spot on Google maps. All of the positive reviews don’t lie, this place is DELICIOUS!! By far one of the best meals we’ve had in a while!

We got the cold appetizer sampler and it was phenomenal. Served with two dolma, soft, warm bread and five different dipping options. They were all very good but the kalamata dip and the baba ghanoush stood out, just so goooood!

We tried the chicken gyro plate and the chicken kebab plate. The gyro was good but the kebab was definitely the winner! The chicken chunks were very flavorful and juicy, not dry at all.

We are super excited to have found such a delectable dinner option in town! I think this will be our new go to spot. :)

The food at this cozy Mediterranean restaurant was superb. The chicken and lamb kabobs were perfectly grilled, tender and bursting with flavor. The savory saffron(I think) rice had a mouth watering buttery taste, complementing the meats beautifully. The hummus was creamy, rich and topped with olive oil.

I had the pleasure of meeting Zaza who personally served us. He was humble, customer service-oriented and very friendly.

I cannot stop talking about how great my experience was. From the elegant decor as soon as you enter the restaurant to the restroom, Zaza has kept the need of the customer first. Was disappointed by the iskender, the pide bread was really greasy and tasted deep fried. The döner meat on top and the sauce didnt taste authentic but was pretty good. The bread really ruined the dish though, we stopped eating the bread because it was too strong and greasy.

Service was a bit rude. The guy asked us to move from a 4 person table to a 2 person table. We moved because it was a fair ask as we were 2 people, but noticed there were 2 other tables with only 2 people and they weren’t asked to move.
