Listen, if you happen across this place or this review, please do yourself a favor and check out El Sazon. It is delicious. You know when you first bite into something tasty and it's practically transcendent? The food here is like that for every single bite. I cannot stress enough how delectable the food is here!

This tiny little restaurant is a gem! Homemade tortillas and prices you can't beat! And horchata which makes me happy. Drive through is available if you call in an order. Yes, there's not a lot of indoor seating but for food this good who cares? If you're feeding a lot of people just get a giant order to-go!

I have loved every single thing I've had there. The fried quesadillas are incredible, the shrimp burrito is my happy place. Tamales are top notch....

The food tasting authentic gets this place the fourth star. As the dinning room lacks adequate space, if not seated outdoors you will likely feel like you're in the way if customers pile in to order while you're eating. The fresh taste might cause that to happen. The tamales do come stuffed with chicken and rather spicy hot peppers. Hot but not a bad flavor. Still this was a bit of an unpleasant surprise to me as I was expecting beef. Perhaps the menu or staff could call this to the attention of those who aren't aware to avoid confusion. The food was traditional Mexican and very very good! If you like authentic Mexican food such as that served at a restaurant in Tijuana, you'll love El Sazon! I implore you to try this food. The food is freshly prepared and comes with all the traditional fixings. It's definitely a cut above the fast food types of most Mexican restaurants. But the service is top notch and very fast. Myself , the misses , and 4 children all ordered and ate alfresco, which I loved as it was nice and cool out after it stopped raining. Even the hit sauce was traditional and fresh made.
