Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Painesville

Today is November 1, 2020 and I have had the works experience and Painsville restaurants that I’ve had in a long time. Today me and my family walked into Perkins and the waitress said it will be a 10 minute wait I said you know what that’s fine is Sunday people probably want to eat so we waiting 10 minutes 10 minutes turns 20 20 minutes turn into 30 now we’re being seated by the waitress. Was that I must say our waitress her name was Britney and she was a good waitress the problem came with the general manager Nick. I ordered a turkey dinner as well as my wife did but I ordered extra stuffing so my food came out my wife’s food came out in our stuffing looked almost the same so I asked the waitress and I said hey as I’m lifting up my turkey by the way I asked for it to be well done they put my turkey on it almost look like it was fried turkey or grilled turkey versus being steam if you couldn’t you know cook it that way just should’ve let me know but nevertheless I asked the waitress I lift up my turkey man my turkey and I seen that we had pretty much the same on a dress and so I asked her about it she went to the back and spoke to the cook Then I heard the cook yelling from the kitchen I don’t care who it is blah blah blah blah blah been getting an x-ray they gonna have to pay for it which was no problem but then he came out and told me that he put extra dressing on there and he said I did it myself I don’t see no extra dressing at all so then he went on to yell and I don’t care with the Lala Lala Lala there inappropriate have I not been save then we would’ve had a problemIf I can give this Google review zero stars I would have to I just put one star cause I don’t want them to think that I forgot about any stars horrible experience not the first experience that we had with them after a year I decided to give them another opportunity this Perkins need to flee from the city...

Pulled up to Perkins this morning with an empty stomach and high hopes — and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I dove fork-first into their Strawberry Cheesecake Breakfast, which honestly felt like I was committing a beautiful crime against my diet. Fluffy pancakes laced with cheesecake bits, topped with strawberries and whipped cream so sweet I nearly proposed to the plate.

Now, not everything was a slam dunk — the scrambled eggs had the consistency of floppy water balloons. Not exactly the texture I was craving, but hey, breakfast isn't always perfect. They tried. Bless 'em.

The girlfriend? She went with an omelette and proudly declared it was eggcellent — her words, not mine (but she's not wrong). Loaded, fluffy, and well-seasoned, it definitely won her heart… and part of mine, because of course I stole a bite.

But the true mic-drop moment? We left with a whole Banana Crème Pie like it was a trophy. That thing is smooth, silky, and sinfully sweet — the kind of dessert that makes you regret not ordering two.

Final Verdict: 9/10 Come for the cheesecake pancakes, stay for the pie, and maybe pass on the water-eggs unless you're into that sort of thing. Would definitely roll...

I love coming here and dining in, the atmosphere is always great and as well as the food and the service.. however, on a few occasions I've ordered take out or through door dash and the quality of the food has been no where near the same experience.. of course nobody is perfect and things happen so I disregarded the last few issues with the food I've ordered through door dash and decided to order takeout directly from the restaurant I was not pleased once again.. I ended up asking for a refund due to the same issues.. third party orders and take out orders/ customers should receive the same care , respect and effort as well as dine in customers as well.. I frequently dine in and the service was like night and day.. even when I asked to speak with a manager I could see the difference.. I really hope other take out customers haven't experienced feeling any less important because a hostess might have figured that they wouldn't receive a tip . Or whatever the case may be. However I won't be ordering through DD or takeout from this restaurant any longer but I will continue to dine in.. in hopes things will remain the same due to my review of my in restaurant...
