La Presa Restaurant — Restaurant in Palatine Township

I went there with my husband for dinner to enjoy my sunday night,bcus previously they serve good food when went there with my family but this time as soon as take seat lady come to us n told us that food will take 40 minutes, i was so hungry but i was thinking for good food i can wait 40minutes no problem. Then we order our food and we start waiting, some kids was running around our table screaming n laughing no once says nothing, we was patiently waiting for our food.finally after 40 minutes they serve our food,which suppose to be vegetable fried chimichanga and what tgey serve us is beans and cheese in chimichanga food was totally different then what we expected. I ask lady that this is just beans n rice only no vegetables but she said we make it like this,i ask her this food bot that which we eat last time they did make vegetable fried chimichanga. Then she take our plates n says wait till we prepare that.again we have to wait,it was enough for me bcus she lies that they dont make vegetable chimichanga n second we already wair enough for our food. Finally she bring our food ,but as soon as we starrt that we noticed that they just put raw vegetables cheese beans n rice and Food test was horrible, i got so upset bcus after 1 and 15 minutes we got horrible food .me and my husband didn't like food at all and we ask lady that we cant eat this we just like to check out .we paid for our 2 cans of coke $3.21 and left that place. This place only run good when owner is present that's what i think.bcus ppl who work their they dont care about customers .I will never return this place again they ruined my evening with my husband and make us so upset.they just make us to wait 1 and half hour for diagusting food.they don't value thier customers. Its all about the experience. Dont waste your time and money here find better place somewhere else otherwise for sure you...

I’ve seen this restaurant for years (maybe decades?) while going to Napoli’s. It always appears unassuming. A friend and I decided to stop here randomly and boy was I pleasantly surprised! Great service I need to say firstly. Although the laminated menus don’t have prices, the paper ones at the counter do for most items not Market Price. Don’t let this put you off. My meal was $20.99 at time of payment before tip, for seafood. The insane amount of different whole seafood options and steak specialties, the massive colorful platters, the huge drinks… This is a wonderfully decadently-far cry from my typical Napoli’s trip. BUT they still make the essentials like tacos, sopes, and burritos too. I got the Camarones con Crema de Chipotle, my friend got the Chilaquiles Verdes. Both were on MASSIVE platters and was a great amount of food. Seasoned rich sauce, great shrimp, warm tortillas… My friend’s margarita with the Corona took forever to finish and must have had good quality tequila in it. As the meal wore on, the restaurant had more and more customers for a late Sunday lunch. It didn’t seem so empty and quiet as what you see from the outside, and it was nice seeing people coming in. I would definitely come back again or make a pickup order with the fam. Great...

Do not order through the website. I placed an order and it totaled $53 and I get there and they tell me it's $82!!! No way! They would not honor the price of the order placed. "Sorry we don't use that service anymore. I don't know what you want me to tell you." Obviously you do still use it cuz you got my order, which had my phone number attached to it. If you knew there was an issue with using that site to sell your food and your prices have since changed... You alert your customer! I obviously walked out without food.
