First time guests. We got there during what they called “family hours” on the phone, around 5:30 to eat dinner. The music was disgusting, full of foul language - I would have been mortified if we would have had our kids with us. We took our time looking over the menu and order some drinks. Mine wasn’t was I thought it was, so they replaced it no problem. The drink I ordered was supposed to be on Happy Hour for $8. The one I replaced it with was $9. On our check at the end it was rang up $10. When I asked for it to be corrected, the waitress just said, “you can just take that our of my tip” instead of making it right.
We ordered an appetizer to start with, and ordered some waffle fries nachos to split as a meal. The waitress brought them both out at the same time. We explained that we wanted the appetizer first and then the meal. Her response was “well they didn’t have anything else to do in the kitchen so they just made them at the same time.” No offer to make it right. We ordered a STARTER because we wanted to have it BEFORE the meal.
The whole time we were there the waitress sat at the bar, with her back to us. When we needed something we just had to say “excuse me ma’am”. She was very nice, just very unprofessional.
The food wasn’t bad. There wasn’t much pulled pork on the waffle fries. We had heard how good the food was and was excited to try it, but with this experience, we...

The only place nearby that's open late for drinks and food.
The shots were inconsistently poured, some of us were filled to the top of the glass and others were half a shot glass (same round).
Lemon drop isn't their specialty- just a shot of simple syrup and sugar no vodka. We also found that multiple double charges and inconsistencies on our bills. Not worth it, the waitress did a good job. (But just a note- don't tell someone you are comping their drinks because of a mistake and then putting those drinks on two other tabs- we are all friends, ya know? )
Beware of the double charge on the weekends. We were a bigger group(8), some of us only paid $5 to walk in the door, others paid $10 (a few minutes later- maybe a cutoff they didn’t tell us about) but there is also an event night charge on some of our receipts (photo attached). Not sure if this was their way of putting gratuity on us or if they were charging for the DJ. The DJ was good, he took requests so the music changed with the person he took the requests from- 90's rap to sad country.
They have pool tables, but no one moved from them for the 1.5 hours we were there.
All in all good place to hang out with friends and listen to what the DJ is playing. Definitely a locals spot.
The food is good and the beer is cold, what else do you need?
That's my two cents, go...
Read moreI am usually skeptical about trying new places as my wife and I usually have bad experiences until the restaurant has been established for a year or longer. My wife and I decided to try FoxHouse Bar and Grill for lunch.
We walked in and right away, I was impressed with the decor of the place. It was clean and had the look of a casual restaurant but still classy. We were greeted by the staff and took a seat by the wall. We were made to feel welcome as they handed us some menus.
I noticed the menu was small with only one page, but the options were numerous if that made any sense. My wife ordered a cheeseburger and I orded the nacho waffles with chicken. The food did not take long as the place wasn't busy, and I was impressed with the portion sizes.
My wife's cheesburger was well seasoned and delicious and my nacho waffles were also delicious. I did not like the Foxy sauce which came with the entree, but I think it did not need it to be honest.
I was extremely impressed with this restaurant and I will certainly be back. The prices and the taste of the entrees are definitely well worth it. The service is friendly and top notch as well. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a good meal and give...
