333짬뽕/333JJAMPPONG — Restaurant in Palisades Park

Pros: The rib jjamppong is unique is delicious! It's not often you get to choose spice level of jjamppong but this place does allow you to so even better. Noodles for both jjamppong and jjajangmyun are green and makes me feel better about what I'm eating.

Cons: Sweet and sour pork sauce needs improvement. Too sweet. We went at dinner time and the place was sadly very empty. Contrary to lots of reviews about super friendly service, that is totally not what I experienced. Bare minimum in terms of service. Restaurant is brightly lit and seemingly clean but SO many fruit flies! Restaurant needs improved ventilation. I'm assuming it was the onion being sautéed that made our eyes tear up but staff also ran out complaining about the spicy air making their eyes tear.

Tl;dr: I want to return for the rib jjamppong but will do take out only. I will not return...

Not about the food but the service and attitude is horrible. I came to this place before and liked the food, so I tried to order over the phone today. Worse experience. They pretty much can’t really speak English at all which is ok, I can understand that given the Korean population here. However their attitude is very rude - they are the person who don’t understand what a customer is saying and they were yelling at me. Literally yelling at me and no patience at all. And also last time I ate there, my credit card was charged twice. I’m still waiting for the bank dispute resolution. First time ever with a restaurant. I would say if you speak English only, avoid here. There are so many friendly Korean restaurants in this...

For sure, I can say that this place is the best Korean Chinese cuisine(중화요리) ever in NY and NJ area. I ve been in NJ/NY area 20 yrs now and tried all the Korean Chinese restaurants and I am so glad that I finally found this place...!!! The food is the best with the amazing portion, and the service was so good. They're s nice to the customer. I do recommend this place. Especially, 짬뽕 is the best. It's a way better than any 짬뽕 from other restaurants and 짜짱 sauce is not sweet so I love it!!!
