Days Inn by Wyndham Ridgefield NJ — Hotel in Palisades Park

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! WE HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE !! THE ROOMS ARE VERY DISGUSTING. AFTER CHECKING IN, WE DROPPED OFF OUR THINGS AND LEFT TO GO RUN ERRANDS. WHEN WE CAME A FEW HOURS LATER AS WE ARE GETTING READY FOR BED WE NOTICE THAT THERE’S STAINS ON THE BED AND PILLOWS , HOLES ON THE BED COMFORTER, STAINS ALL OVER THE WALLS, THE VENTS OF THE HEATER ARE FULL OF DUST AND DIRTY. WE WENT TO ASK IF WE COULD GET A REFUND TO LEAVE , , THEY REFUSED TO COOPERATE BECAUSE HE SAID WE BEEN IN THE HOTEL FOR 6 HOURS WHEN WE HAD NOT BEEN THERE NOT EVEN 1 1/2 Hour & WE CHECKED IN AFTER 4:30 pm LEFT 15 mins after and CAME BACK AT 9:24pm it was about 9:50 pm , THEY REFUSED, WE WERE FORCED TO STAY , EVEN ASKED FOR A PARTIAL REFUND BECAUSE IT DID NOT MEET SANITARY GUIDELINES THEY REFUSED TO COOPERATE. THEN WHEN I WAS AT THE FRONT CHALES (Front desk) WAS OVER CHARGING . OUR HOTEL WAS $108 & THAT WASNT SO, THEY CHARGED $149 double bed. A CUSTOMER CAME AND HE CHARGED HER $140 plus tax FOR 1BED. THEN WAS TRYING TO FORCE A FAMILY OF 4 TO GET 2 SEPERATE ROOMS WHEN THEY WHERE ASKING FOR A DOUBLE BED ROOM HE TOLD THEM ONLY 3 PEOPLE CAN BE IN A ROOM.

THEIR WEBSITE ALSO SAYS 6 MINS FROM AMERICAN DREAM BUT ITS 24 mins . ITS SO DISGUSTING, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND ARE SCAMMING WITH THEIR PRICES. Also CHALES WENT TO INSPECT THD ROOM he took pictures and was very aggressive and rude about the complaints we had. He also made the room smell worst with his body odor. This place is like a very dirty motel with expensive prices . DO NOT...

SCAM Do not stay at this hotel. I was told that I would be paying $158.79 for four people and two queen sized beds. Two of the people I called about decided to stay at home, so it would then only be two people staying including me. When I got to the hotel I informed the young man at the front desk (ANDY) that I needed to change the reservation because it would only be two people staying instead of four. He told me that the room would be the same price, but I could tell that he was lying because why wouldn't they have charged me for the two extra guests and the extra bed??

I told him that I did not want two beds because my partner and I share a bed. He continued saying that there were no other rooms and there was not a price difference between getting one bed versus two beds. I let him ring me up for the room ($158.79). He gave me the paper to sign. I told him to hold on because I was going to see if I could book a room with one bed online instead. When he noticed I was looking online to book the room, he admitted that they did in fact have a room with one bed available. He told me that he would put me in that room instead, so I agreed. He told me that he would refund me the difference from what I had paid earlier ($23.52). I stayed the night and made sure to get my receipt the next morning. They refunded me $23.52 on April 6th. That should have been the end of it, but I was charged an additional $112.45 today. I called them and they are saying to call back tomorrow and that it is best to dispute the charge...

ROACH MOTEL!! Had THE WORST STAY/EXPERIENCE in a hotel IMAGINABLE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I stayed here back in early May with my fiance. When I awoke to use the bathroom the night we stayed I was mortified by the sight of a 3-4 inch cockroach crawling up the wall. I RAN out of the bathroom screaming, waking my fiance telling him to call room service. While room service took forever to get to our room, which was just down the hallway, I had to battle the filthy bug with my what to expect when expecting pregnancy book, being as it was thick and heavy enough to pin the roach under until room service arrived. I was so scared it would run under the beds or into our belongings, so the book was all I could think of in a fast moment. I'm 6 months pregnant due August 1st btw so this stress was BEYOND UNNEEDED. Once room service came they then sprayed the big with raid, not even thinking or considering the well being of my or my unborn baby, exposing us to those chemicals. I couldn't believe they didn't even try or offer to trap the bug and remove it WITHOUT spraying it THREE TIMES with raid in our room.... The next day we got the run around for hours, that we had to wait to speak with the manager. It was totally absurd! After speaking with her she only wanted to compensate part of the room, when after the incident with the roach, I was so disturbed I chose to sleep out in my car, afraid I'd encounter another one OR inhale the toxins...
