Boy Hero — Restaurant in Palm Bay

So the burger crave came and it wasn't for a burger chain burger. It needed to be take-out since I was assisting a wheelchair bound handicapped friend. After some searching, I decided to give Boy Hero a try. Boy was that a good decision 😂. Got 2 double doubles, one with sauce and one without. One with fries and one with onion rings. I ordered there because I wanted to get the food immediately after ready. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They said 15 minutes and it wasn't half that before they brought me my food. In sustainable packaging. 6 minute drive home and the food was perfect... hot and not mushy. My first bite elicited the Mmmm reaction. The fries were plain and very good. Next time I'll get the garlic ones. Onion rings very good with or without the sauce that came with them. Needless to say but I'll be back... a lot. Don't let the modest dining area put you off. The food...

Wow! I am not normally impressed by a burger, but just wow! They really knocked it out of the park! I got their Double Double with fries, and I was amazed. Cooked right (smash burgers?) and nice and saucy with good pickles, plus I got bacon. Their fries were also surprisingly good, which is something I don't typically say about fries. That and a can of A&W was like $19? Not bad. I will say, despite finding it on Google Maps and it sounding interesting, I almost didn't go in. It has a sign outside and I could see an illuminated Open sign, but no other signage that stood out (hours, if they take credit cards, etc), and it looked dark inside. When I got closer I could see they DO have an hours board (not open for lunch, odd), and their windows are REALLY tinted. It is also very basic decor inside. I'm not sure if they just opened or what. That aside, though...duuuuuddde......

Just got take out from a great little sandwich shop.... I tried adding the location, but it doesn't come up in the search. Other stores in the same plaza come up, but not them. A hidden little gem of Palm Bay. BOY HERO 6050 Babcock St. Palm Bay, Florida

I got their Carolina Chicken Barbaque. Well it taste perfect. The mix of ingredients comes through to your taste buds to wake them up. And the bun/roll is so soft and tender yet dares you to take another bite. If that wasn't good enough, their fries are perfect. Golden brown, crispy but not greasy.

Will definitely be spending more time at BOY HERO. Though the fortune cookie through me at first when I opened up the take out box, it is a nice touch....
