Our 83-year-old neighbor invited us to dinner at this restaurant, and while the evening started pleasantly, it took a disappointing turn. There were four of us, and it was clear that our neighbor was a regular, as the hostess greeted him warmly. She was incredibly sweet, and we felt welcomed.
However, the experience quickly soured due to our waitress. We were sharing a pizza—half vegetarian and half with meat—and opted for a medium size based on our neighbor’s suggestion. When the pizza arrived, the vegetarians in our group only received one slice each, while the meat-eaters got two. This left half of us still hungry.
The most upsetting part came at the end of the meal when our neighbor kindly insisted on covering the bill, which came to $38. We offered to leave a tip. However, after our neighbor added a $6 tip, the waitress visibly expressed her displeasure, opening the check booklet and showing clear irritation. When I asked her to leave the booklet at the table so we could add more, she rolled her eyes and said, “That’s a large check,” before walking away. One of us tried to catch her attention to give her additional tip money, but she ignored us until we finally flagged her down.
This behavior ruined our dining experience. Our neighbor, not used to tipping etiquette, was proud to treat us, and we didn’t want him to feel uncomfortable. We added our portion of the tip, but the damage was done.
I won’t be returning, even though our neighbor had a nice rapport with the hostess. The restaurant should seriously reconsider the attitude and sensitivity of its waitstaff to ensure a more positive and respectful experience for all patrons. We literally saw our neighbor being robbed of his dignity in front of us. So...
Read moreI usually am pretty good about reviews and try to be honest and look for the good qualities in a business. The one thing I can't handle is rudeness. I came to pick up a pizza my daughter called in. She was told it would be ready by 710. I arrived 7:05 and thought I am early so I might have to wait. When I arrived the blonde counter person asked me about pick up. We figured all that out and I signed slip and even tipped a $1 for the pick up. After I signed and handed over the slip the counter person took my slip and put it with others. Never once did she say pizza isn't ready yet. Never once did she say we'll call you when it's done. So I shrugged that rudeness and awkward moment off. I mean I was standing there at the counter in her face for about a minute. So I stood as others were standing and waiting off to the side. And I watch this same counter person chat it up with every person that walked in after me. So now I am thinking what other reason besides I am the only dark skin person in the place. I know the south has some subtle hints of racism and prejudice still lurking around. I think that is what I experienced. Because every time the counter person and I made eye contact she sort of gave me a blank look while others would get a smile. This was enough for me to never step foot in this place again. And the fact that I waited until 730 to pick up a pizza called in at 630. An hour wait for pizza pick up is unacceptable to me. If I could give no...

The store was all empty . I came to pick up my lasagna, she was on the phone with her friend she didn't even look at me. After 2 minutes waiting I told her that I'm a handicap, she still ignored me so I told her that I was going to sit down for some relief. By the way my lasagna was already made! All she had to do was to charge me, and that would have been OK. Yet she still ignored me! She then hanged the telephone and walked away and turned her back towards me !! COMPLETELY ignored me And told a younger girl brunette with a ponytail to cash me out. The pizza maker looked confused why she treated me like that! ! Ask him and the young lady what exactly happened. I'm NEVER GOING BACK TO YOUR PIZZARA I!!!!!! If you even care. Also been a client for over 10 year at that store .
