One Ten Tavern — Restaurant in Palmerton

Very unprofessional. We ordered 3 meals that came out incorrectly. Improperly prepared and also didn’t serve the whole dish. We tried to get the two meals that we took a singular bite out of taken off the bill and they gave us a 3 dollar discount instead when we didn’t eat 2 whole meals. At the beginning, my adult friend tried to order alcohol for herself and didn’t get served because there were minors at the table. They then accused of us attempting to underage drinking even when we said it was ok they didn’t want to serve my of age friend alcohol. The rude barmaid said to us “you’re welcome to walk out and have the cops called.” They then didn’t want to comp our meals that we immediately sent back after being served. We offered to pay for the one fries we at off a meal but they wanted to charge us for the whole thing. We called the police, had them sent over, and the owner sent us away in shame and anger. They threatened us first with legal action and weren’t accommodating us even though we agreed to pay for what we actually consumed. I wouldn’t come to this place ever again. First and last time. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great prices. They always seem to be short staffed, and they actually put that on the "please wait to be seated" sign. Ok, I can understand that good help is hard to find. However, when you are seated at a table and 25 minutes go by without anyone even acknowledging that you are there, while a multitude of wait staff continue to walk by and seemingly ignore you, I take issue with that. Hey, they were busy. I get it. But someone needs to jump or call in reinforcements to handle the extra volume. On a positive note, the bar staff is always spot on! Have never waited more than 2 minutes to be served when sitting at the bar. I've been going to the 110 frequently for quite some time and never had this bad of an experience. Even though this was not a positive experience, I'd still recommend going there for the food and drinks. Good food is good food! Just hope you have the patience to wait...

Hoping our experience was a fluke and it's normally better. But our service was pretty rough. I waited almost 40 minutes for our server to come back just to ask for a glass of water and instead, ended up leaving and drinking water we had in the truck since she never reappeared.

The "mashed potato bowl" should probably have specified that there were literally half-cloves of garlic in the mashed potatoes. It was really overwhelming.

The wrap was an oddly small size, definitely out of the norm for area restaurants.

French Onion soup was not a normal onion soup broth, instead like a thickened gravy-herbed-broth? And then had a very small piece of bread and a small amount of cheese on top - but again, just a very "different" take on a normal dish.
