I just got married on Saturday, and Bacio did the food for it. I've had his food before, and been to weddings he's catered, which is why when it came time for me to find my caterer, there was no other option. I straight up selected my dinner venue based on who would let me bring Chef Robert and Bacio Catering with me. And neither I, nor my guests, were in any way disappointed by this choice. The food was incredible. All night, and the next day, I was hearing from my guests how much they loved the food. My husband and I have leftovers to eat during our honeymoon and we're SO happy about it!!! But beyond the food itself, Chef was amazing. He's a consummate professional, always on top of things, always on the ball and ready to get the job done. I knew I could count on him to make my menu happen, no questions asked. We collaborated on a custom menu with everything we wanted, and he was always so upbeat and positive during the process. Up front about costs, flexible and totally able to work with me, he personalized this menu to my husband's and my tastes, worked around my guests' dietary restrictions-- all without ever making me feel like I was asking too much. Every second of the way, he was excited to work on my wedding. And his staff!! The staff members we had just absolutely made it happen. Professional and on top of things from start to finish. The setup looked incredible, they were on top of our timeline, they rolled with the punches when we were late, gave us 110% the whole night. Bacio catering treated me like family -- and the family you actually like and want to see again!! I was planning my wedding from out-of-state, so it was important to me that I worked with a caterer who was communicative and willing to talk through different ideas with me. Two weeks before the event, when we met in person to do a walk through of the venue and finalize certain details, it was clear to me that my day would be in good hands. Chef Robert is professional, creative, and willing to try new things to honor the families he is representing. He would hear my ideas, offer some of his own, and together we created what was truly the most amazing wedding day. The food was hot and delicious, and received many compliments from our guests. The servers were attentive and respectful. They did not move around rattling dishes during our speeches, something that was important to both me and Chef Robert. The entire team effectively kept to the timeline that Chef Robert, my coordinator, and my other vendors agreed to. As the bride and groom, we were approached a few times personally by servers to make sure we had whatever drinks or food we wanted. The menu options were outstanding and Chef helped us put together a perfect selection of cold and hot foods. He was responsive to our needs and questions throughout and timely in all his responses. He came out to the house to survey our needs ahead of time. On day of the event he arrived on schedule, smiling and prepared with 2 amazing staff that stayed for the event to set up, assist and clean up. The food was beautifully prepared and presented and tasted even better! We had been so excited about our menu and it was even better than we had hoped. Fresh, enticing and delicious - chicken parm, seafood skewers, pasta carbonara, meatballs, pulled pork, cheesesteak spring rolls...one as yummy as the next. The salad even had huge homemade croutons.
