As a tourist I took an hour-long walk through the beautiful campus of Stanford U., but during my walk I saw very little in the way of coffee shops, cafes or any kind of commercial services/ conveniences. They seem to be hidden, so that the appearance of the campus remains sedate and unspoiled. But I really needed a bathroom and a bottle of water BAD. Coupa Cafe did the job. I even got a good sandwich. They serve coffee, drinks and sandwiches at Coupa - no surprise there. This cafe is on the main walkway of the university. I was able to go back just now just as they were closing. Fego refunded my money for the crepe. He said he is a chef and that when the crepe gets heated very fast at a very high temperature, the bananas can get black in the center like that. Well, the problem still remained as to why some of the crepe was sour and some of the strawberries...
