Charming and absolutely lovely. Perfect for a night out with friends or a date. True Greek hospitality - staff was friendly and introduced the menu, checked in on us, gave great suggestions for food, and were extremely attentive and accommodating with regard to our dietary restrictions. Lots of delicious vegetarian friendly options and excellent portion size - you know it's real Mediterranean food when you don't even need any meat to feel satisfied.

Favorites: KOLOKITHOKEFTEDES: zucchini cakes. Crispy on the outside, tender and soft and delicious inside. My friend hates zucchinis but loved these ones. Phenomenal SPANAKOPITAKIA: it's impossible to hate a spanakopita. Very delicate, VERY good. HALLOUMI: delicious! Tiny little bites of cheese. Refreshing sparks of flavor

The house pita and orzo pasta were also amazing. Everything is made fresh in house, and you can really taste the care they put into their food. This location is apparently newly opened (they said they have another location in Palo Alto that's been around for 8 years!), so please give them some love. There's a fairly large parking lot as it's in a shopping plaza, it's just a few minutes off the highway, and they have a cozy interior with a nice outside patio (and heat lamps). The food is bad! I mean it's not delicious at all and as a result not worth it's money. The small cheese appetizer in a pan is just a fraud - a piece of rubber with a clear alcohol taste. Just disgusting. Moussaka seemed didn't have any eggplant and didn't taste like moussaka. Chicken in gyro was overcooked, hard to chew and nothing special at all. Gigantic beans just weird dish and not tasty. And here we come to prices - oh my God! Overpriced!And the service is the worst. We were waiting for appetizers for 20 minutes, then for drinks for 20 minutes, the main course for 30- 40 minutes. We came for dinner about a month ago. First, they were not playing Greek music. The closest thing to a Greek song was a mamma Mia abba remake… I was very sad about this.

The muscles and gyro were delicious. The octapodi was overcooked and the moussaka had barely any eggplant. What is normally bechemel on moussaka, was a different cheese sauce… perhaps that’s regional?

Service was good but lacked a sincerity. Hard to explain, but seemed off. I’ve had only great experiences at the palo alto location.

It’s very expensive, so naturally my standards are high. I believe they will grow into excellence. I believe the bare minimum of a great experience would include Greek music. Nikos or...
