Ok, so my review is a little late, a few years late to be matter-of-fact, but I never actually reviewed/complained at the time of my visit because the whole thing was just disappointing and upsetting and there was nothing that could have been done to make it better but they definitely did their best to make it worse.
A little over 5 years ago, at this exact taco bell in panama city by gulf coast community college, me and a friend went to get food. I ordered a fiesta taco salad with extra cream cheese and he ordered chalupas or something (I don't really remember what he ordered) we went back to my place to watch movies and eat, this taco salad was awesome and hot, I ate almost the whole salad, I was two bites from finishing this thing when I almost put a roach in my mouth.
It was like something from a bad movie and looked at my fork and there was a dead roach on the end of my fork. I screamed and promptly began relieving myself, not of my own volition, of what's probably the last thing I will ever eat from taco bell. I was super upset and started to cry while I packed up what was left of the taco salad in its container with its little dead pet inside and drove back to the taco bell it had been purchased at.
I was absolutely disgusted and very upset, I may have yelled, I don't remember, but I do remember making myself calm down when they gave me a refund and provided me the number to their district manager.
Not long after I left I called the number they gave me, spoke to a lady who pretty much accused me of fabricating the whole thing because the salad was almost completely gone and made it a point to emphasize that I had gotten my meal for free and insisted that I would be back for another in no time.
I was so upset and enraged that I literally could not respond, needless to say I have not been back and the smell of taco bell now makes me ill. It was the smell of taco bell making my stomach churn today that actually prompted me to write this review. I know that it has been years and all of the pepole who were even involved probably don't even work there at all, but what really makes me sick is that with everything that happened that day, they probably didn't even get rid of the meat and lettuce that my salad was made with. How many people do you think ate roach infested food that day? How high are the odds that I ate a roach that I didn't even notice?
I don't know the answers to those questions but I still think about it, I still look through all of my food before I eat it when I purchase anything I didn't make and regardless of the insistence that I would "get over it" I will never eat at...
Read moreDon’t Bother! We’ve tried this place a few times and spaced it out between the visits. The first time we went we figured maybe they were having an off day. We ordered out food, no crazy requests, just stuff straight off their menu. Got home and they got almost one thing right on the whole order. The sad part was you could tell they messed that up at first. It was a nacho bell grande and we asked for no tomatoes. It looked like they forgot and tried to removed all the tomatoes. The rest of the order was wrong. Fast forward a few months we decided to give them another shot. This time we checked the bag before we left. They forgot two of the items we ordered and as we are checking it right in front of them we pointed this out. The girl helping us calls another guy over and he argues that it’s all there. We offered to let them check if needed. So he finally said oh I must have forgotten that. Then we pointed out after the food order was fully corrected that we also didn’t have any sauce that we asked for and they tried to tell us again that it’s in the bag….. I mean come on seriously?! The manager is nice but he seems a bit over his head. If I owned this place I’d be doing some secret quality control checks because it appears as thought it is a trend. The Lynn Haven Taco Bell has been spot on for us so far if you really need that forth...
Read moreExtremely unprofessional manager. (If you notice, everyone that has left a review says something about the manager being rude, and just not friendly). The manager is obviously a problem. Do something about it before you no longer have customers. The reviews are recent also! I asked a question and the manager tells me I’m being rude? When all I did was ask what came in the burrito. Since when do company’s allow their employee to mistreat costumers? I don’t feel like I did anything wrong. Sorry if they were having a bad day, but it is NEVER ok to take it out on a customer. I feel personally attacked, just for asking a question. The worst part is, after I explained to the manager that i simply just wanted to know what was in the burrito, they still told me I was being rude when I was not at all being rude. I had no Malicious intentions. I simply wanted to know what was in my food that I was going to be eating. That’s a crime now? To want to know what is in your good?! Seriously Asking a question is rude? Wanting to know what comes in your food is rude? TACO BELLS MANAGERS ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Next time I will go get real Mexican food at a...
