ALDI — Local services in Panama City

Our first visit!! 3-6-2025!!! Browsed around checking prices and getting a few things just like the rest of the shoppers were.. Got ready to check out this one cashier right as you go thru the door to the left absolutely starting slinging our groceries in the empty cart, My husband ask her not to sling the food on top of the bread , she did it anyway..He ask her be careful with more items she said I'm just doing my job..He ask her if I was doing your groceries like that how would you feel?? We buy at Sam's also I have never in my life had a cashier to sling groceries as she did , Sam's takes time to place your groceries in the cart not sling them..we should have walked out and left them for sure.. Bring back Winn-Dixie! I live directly across the street from this travesty & now I commute to Grocery Outlet or LynnHaven/PCB to get my crab legs, Activia yogurt & meats. I assume this place is owned by bankers as they're not even open for half a day... 9am to 8pm?! Seriously Mr & Mrs. Aldi?! Are we living in France or ruZZia? Maybe ruZZia because you have to bring your own bags & deposit money for a shopping cart ... Why no cash option? Only 1 cashier?! Why are there large, plush stuffed animals in one of the isles? Who is buying that in a grocery store?! Why is only half of the building occupied with the other half closed off?! This is how I imagine a store if it were pumped...

The new store is nice and there are a lot of great deals. However, the woman at the checkout lane seemed upset that we used her checkout lane instead of using the self serve lane. There was no greeting and she was throwing items into the cart a little too forcefully, including glass. I know everyone has a bad day sometimes, so I understand.
