Subway — Restaurant in Paradise Township

(Changed my review) Recently there was a horrid video posted on Facebook of the local Kingsley subway. There were mice on sticky traps on the chip racks in front of customers. The video was sickening and it hurts to say goodbye to my childhood sandwich shop but they will no longer have my service or many of the other locals service. It's so heartbreaking to see the only restaurant in Kingsley (that isn't pizza) go down hill. These new owners and management has run our beloved subway into the ground!

(Older review) I’ve been going to this subway for many years. I was a Kingsley student and lived off Subway for years. Recently (Since the new owners) it’s become a mess. They close early, and they aren’t as neat and organized as they used to be. I remember when Subway was clean, trays full and they closed at exactly 9 pm, not 7 pm. It’s annoying driving to the subway just for it to be closed at 7 pm. I’m unsure what these new owners are doing, but they must step up. So The Kingsley location is listed by the state as accepting SNAP benefits now. The person working said it's hit and miss whether it will work but had no reason for why that is. She was a very new employee. Decided to order figuring she just wasn't knowledgeable on the matter. WRONG! Wouldn't accept my card! I should have rejected the sandwich. So I pay for it out of pocket. Get home, unwrap it and the bread was hard as a rock. Serious!No joke man! Like it was several days old. When the person pulled the bread from the cabinet I noticed the cabinet was stuffed full which I thought was odd being it was around 5 pm. Now I wonder how often they bake bread there! Totally disgusted with the experience. Been a customer since the place opened many moons ago. Not any more! Place has gone to $h17 with this new owner. So long subway!...

A progression of repugnance.

Here I am again today… no tomatoes, no wraps, no pickle, no roast beef… pathetic.

Within the last month to month and a half this location has severely declined in quality and reliability. Twice I’ve been in recently only for the restaurant to be missing several common ingredients. During those visits I witnessed two very young guys, obviously high school age, working amongst mess, clutter and chaos without proper supervision. Today I show up…. No bread. What a joke.
