I have tried to be understanding and not leave a bad review or notify corporate, I have tried again and again with giving this McDonald's chance after chance to get things right, hoping it was just a few bad days....but I have not had a good experience with the food or employees the last 6 times I've been there. Employees including managers on the night shift are rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. My order is either wrong or stale and hard everytime. Tonight (4/13/22 at approximately 11pm) the manager forgot to turn her drive thru speaker off and I sat for 10 minutes just listening and waiting for her to realize or take my order. I had to drive to the second window to notify them that orders couldn't be taken because of this. The manager gave me a blank look and just stared at me. After a moment I said I was pulling back around to order. Finally got to put in my order, a very simple order at that. Just a bacon double with big Mac sauce, small fry, and large water. I was told to pull into slot 3 to wait for my food after already having to wait 15 full minutes just to get to this point. It took them 10 more minutes to get the food out to me. I don't eat in my car so I brought it home. My burger didn't have the Mac sauce I had asked for, the edges of the bread were rock hard(they weren't burnt from being toasted and kept warm so I'm assuming this bread had been sitting in the warmer for quite some time) the patty itself was small and shriveled up, and here's the cherry ontop.....in my small fry, after already eating a few......I noticed a hair. I would have just assumed it was mine and kept eating if the hair had been dark in color, but this was a white medium length strand of hair......my hair is dark brown 😑 If I worked normal hours I would go during the day or just go to the McDonald's clear across town but by time I get off work it's late and this McDonald's is the only option as the other one is closed. Update: On another visit, I was told that buying a $1.79 cheeseburger and a bacon 1/4 lb with cheese while redeeming an offer for a $2 sandwich meant I had to pay $2 for the cheeseburger ($0.21 more than usual) in addition to the full price bacon 1/4 lb with cheese. The lady at the drive thru did not seem to understand that I wanted to drop the deal and save $0.21. She said she confirmed with a manager that they had no option to alter it. Upon giving me a refund (my wife accidentally paid before we noticed), we were given the wrong amount in change (more than we paid).
I don't think this job requires an extreme level of intellectual prowess, but I refuse to believe that working at a fast food restaurant makes you any less intelligent than usual. This was a lack of attention on 3 levels (order taking, problem resolution and counting change) that to me demonstrates the root of every problem I've had at this restaurant.
To be clear, there are people here who are attentive, intelligent, fast, and capable of doing their jobs so well they make the other visits seem worth it. But issues like this stand out to me. Mcdonald's and restaurants like it have the advantage of consistency between locations (menu and general expectations). At the cost of this meal for 2 (~$14 w/o drinks or sides), I don't think the chance of a bad experience like this is worth the cost. Even if they did accept the deal as it states in the terms, 9/10 that one time is enough of a hassle that is rather eat somewhere cheaper or somewhere tatastier.

Read moreIt seems every time I order door dash, they always mess my order up. From forgetting stuff for my kids, giving me someone else’s food or me and sending out burnt dried food. Today I order on door dash, they didn’t give my daughter her chocolate milk or any of my 3 kids their apple slices. My deluxe chicken sandwich was dry when I asked for extra mayonnaise. $41 and half my order was wrong or missing. When I called the store the area manager was there. I explained to her what happened and she said I have to call DoorDash and they have to fix it. In the past this has never been an issue for there to write me in a credit. She told me it’s not their fault. I was mind blown because ma’am, DoorDash doesn’t bag my food and DoorDash can’t check my order. What happened to always helping the customer and making it right? So I called DoorDash and they were so kind and gave me more credit than I even needed. I reorder my food and the missing items for my kids. When my food arrived, my fries were cold and my deluxe chicken sandwich was dry and the bread was burnt. You can not only see it, you can smell it. Who burns bread? The saddest part about this, is the area supervisor is there and this is how they are handing food out and not ensuring the whole order is there. I will never order with this McDonald’s again.
