Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Paragould

8 times out of 10 the food is old and crusty. Tonight we thought we'd give it a try. I usually order a 4 piece meal, dark meat and spicy. They say they're out of dark/spicy so I try dark/regular, they say it'll be 12 minutes on that. I settle on white meat/regular. We pulled to the window and pay. After payment they say it'll be 4 minutes for biscuits and are asked to pull forward to wait. We were second in the wait line and there ended up being 2 cars behind us. After exactly 15 minutes, me and the car in front are still sitting there. I go in to see what's going on and find that the boxes are ready and they just tossed a biscuit in and handed me the bag. After returning to my car they bring out the meals for everyone else that was waiting. I guess they'd forgotten about all the people waiting on the side since the drive thru timer wasn't showing anyone waiting at the window. When I finally get to eat my food I find that the chicken is dry enough to become paste while trying to chew and the breading was soggy from sitting in so much grease for so long.

TLDR food is dry and nasty most of the time. Staff is not attentive and more worried about gaming...

Sit back and let Big Herb enlighten you on today's experience here. Decided to get some yard bird for lunch and always never disappointed in Popeyes. First time in this joint. Walked in and had a warm greeting. She took our order. We both wanted 3 piece dark. Got the receipt and drink cups. There was no ice in machine. No carbonation in the soda. All supplies were out including napkins. Tables were dirty and lobby lacked the love. The workers joked and played and didn't seem to care although they were friendly. We received one leg and thigh between both orders and rest was white meat. Chicken was good. Big Herb loves the red beans and rice but this round was very disappointing. It seemed like it was scraped from the bottom of then pan with a few grains of rice added. Mac & cheese looked like it was setting a record for dryness under a heat lamp. Can't believe it was served like that. Could've added water and stirred some? Paid $30 for disappointment. Won't be back to this location but not giving up...

I placed my order at the drive through and told the person taking the order my son in the car behind me was going to order and I was going to pay for all of it. She did not have a problem with that. So I pulled up to the window and there was a lady in the back that told the man and girl at the window I had to pull up because they had to give his order to him and not me so I pulled up and when my son pulled up to the window and he heard a lady in the back yelling about the rest of our order. He told her I paid for all of it and thecar behind was getting the second have of the order but I paid for all of it. The woman in the back was yelling and saying we were stupid. I have been in business management for 40 yrs and NEVER is it okay to tell customer they are stupid nor is it okay to be yelling especially insults throughout the entire store. The people at the window were perfectly capable of handling...
