Birrieria Guadalajara — Restaurant in Paramount

Let me start off by saying that I’ve been to this restaurant many times in the past and have never encountered a problem like my wife and I experience yesterday. We hosted a mother’s Day dinner at my house and needed 25 orders of Pozole. I walked in at 11:30 and They said that they had ran out but since I needed it for 5pm the cook agreed to make the 25 orders. We showed up at 4:30pm to see if it was finished and the cook who states is the owner asked me to walk in to the kitchen and pick up the pot I had left with him. This is where things went south, we asked for cilantro and onions and the cook said they don’t normally give that out but gave it to us anyways. We also asked for tostadas and once again he said that they didn’t give that out but ended up giving it to us with an attitude. We got home to host the party and realized that this guy had made the pozole and it had 0 hominy. Now, I’ve never had pozole without hominy and at this point we were starting to stress out because that meant either going back to the restaurant and pick up the hominy or just buying it ourselves. We decided to go back to the restaurant and the guy gave us 3 - 30oz cups of hominy which in my opinion is nothing for the order we had made. We complained and I had never ran in to an “owner” who was so rude and with a LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! We demanded an apology instead of his justification which made zero sense. We said that we were the customers and you don’t talk to customers that way and went on to say that that didn’t matter. He then went on and said that he made us the favor to make more since it was gone. I never mentioned how much we paid but this is the reason we were sooooo upset. We paid $272 for 25 orders of pozole with no hominy, no tostadas, no onions and no cilantro, very little limes and a TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The guy was upset that we were asking for things that probably did not amount to $5. It was very disappointing because the food is good but after this experience WE WILL NEVER COMEBACK HERE AGAIN!

Ps I’m not one to complain. All we wanted was the stuff that normally comes with Pozole and I understand everyone makes mistakes but you apologize when you do so. My wife is self employed and she knows better. Sucks to say that for $5 worth of food this guy lost a customer that came often and dropped over $200 consistently. If I could give it zero stars I...

Ok, So far im at this place and I can understand why this place is empty. The service here is horrible and the waiters take their sweet time to bring menus or even take orders. And I literally have to get up and ask for something since they are always in the kitchen and never out. And Then the Birrea, Ugh don’t even get me started it tastes so bad. The meat tastes like they didn't even wash it and then the soup tasted like if some put their feet in there and then the meat 🤮. And the meat was so burnt. We had like at least 2 bites of the Birrea and paid then ran out. This experience eating here was horrible and i don't recommend any else eating here its a waste of your money. They just open up to the public again after gyms and barber shops opened up as well.

Let me tell you about my first dine in experience anywhere during the pandemic.

Flies made the already unenjoyable food worst. Had to fight for my limes, Jamaica, and tortillas. When I got the bill it said 15% for groups. I said what group? I'm here alone. She said " didn't you bring your group of friends with you, those flies," lol she didn't say that. Still.. too many flies in that place for comfort.

The 7 mares had baby fken shrimp from Cup of Noodles. I'm surprised it didn't have any noodles or green peas. Crab hands were still raw. Tasted like mush.

Salsa wasn't even salsa for the chips. Salsa flavor water...
