Tacos El Fogon Grill — Restaurant in Paramount

We had to meet up with a dad at a gas station and we hadn't eaten all day. I seen a sign saying tacos al vapor (which i love) so i told my husband, dad and daughter to lets eat there because they have never eaten that style tacos. I had never ate at Tacos El Fogon but thought we should give it a try. And to our delight we found a cozy welcoming Mexican Restaurant with outstanding food. We ordered the tacos al vapor with cachete (cheek) and lavios (lips). And for those who have never heard or tried that type of meat. I know it can sound kind of scary or weird. But let me tell you that the meat is so juicy and tender and well seasoned it just melts in your mouth. It sort of looks and tastes like a roast that has been cooked in crock pot or pressure cooker but minus any gravy. So good anyway the restaurant was a hit all around, even my husband, daughter and dad(who was at first was stand off-ish about eating cheek meat) loved it. The first time I went with my parents and I liked it. So I went back today with my boyfriend. The food was ok but the onions they have on the salsa bar were spoiled. I told the lady that was filling it up that they were bad and she acted like I was crazy. Then she went on by saying, oh no, they are fresh we just prepared them, I tried them, They are good. I smelled then and taste them again and it was disgusting. What I noticed she was going was pouring fresh on top of old. So the bottom onion they were sitting there for who knows how long. All she did was add fresh one on top. This just got me thinking if they do that to the salsa and the onions. what do they do with all the meats they have left over?? Every time I come here I have an issue with the cashiers/ladies who take orders. They’re so rude it’s unreal, I’m surprised I still come here. The food is great but all the ladies aren’t. Every time my mom comes from here she’s mad because the service is just bad. One time a lady told my mom “well they must not be hungry” because my mom, a pregnant woman took her time to go get her food and she over heard the a lady say this with not the best intentions. They also get their little attitude real quick. This other time my mom told one lady they didn’t give her the guacamole and my mom just came back to the car and one of the guys making the actual food literally came to the car to hand her the guacamole because the lady refused and because he knew the lady was in the wrong to not give my mom the guacamole she was not given...
