I enjoy coming to this park, the trail is very soft and smooth to jog on, and there’s a nice turf area in the center. One mile is about four laps or so. The trail is surrounded by a larger dirt, grassy areas to explore and there’s another larger trail that surrounds the entire park. It’s very clean and well taken care of . There’s a small sandy area with a volleyball court and exercising machines. The only thing I wished they had a small play area for children but this seems like more of an adult park for people trying to get their jogs/walks in or people practicing for their sports than for children. It’s really nice to have if you live close to get your exercise time in daily . Thankful for all the people that upkeep this park it always looks well taken care of.

They have been cutting the trees and bushes at Salud Park and it looks so much better. I love how they cut the bushes, it was very different not your traditional square trimmed bushes, but very unique. I never saw bushes cut like that before, it was very pretty to me. Salud Park does not have a playground, but the children play on the exercise equipment, the volleyball court, the small inner track and grass areas to play soccer. The sign that is posted at the entrance of the park does not allow picnics and dogs. They're only two porter potties and no restrooms.

The park was nice. It a nice place to get a run in. The track nice a big for a city park. It opens early and closed at 8pm. There is a green patch on the center, fake grass, but nice. There is a walking dirt track and it has 2-port-a-potties. It's pretty easy to see from the streets. If you go, be aware of the school traffic. It can be a beast. There are 2 schools that bookend the park. The parking is free and it only street parking.

Awesome park that is unique to the area. I wouldn't dare jog on the sidewalks of the neighborhoods in the area given the crazy and discourteous drivers. But this park is a great and safe alternative.

One lap around the dirt track is approximately a half mile while the rubber track is your traditional quarter mile.

The portable bathroom trailer onsite is a nice touch too, although it will probably be tagged up by the low life's that hangout there during the night. The city is pretty good about cleaning it up promptly though.

Park is opened every day from 7am to sundown, and closed on all holidays. No pets are allowed but people still bring them, so if you must bring your pet it should be fine so long as you aren't a dirt bag and clean...
