My daughters walked down to Jack's Java to enjoy a smoothie and a chocolate milk. To my surprise, my youngest daughter ran back with sheer excitement, sharing a heartwarming story. She recounted how the lady behind the counter, without even being asked, kindly offered her a glass of water alongside her chocolate milk. The lady's explanation melted my heart: "I always need some water after I finish my chocolate milk." It's the little things that can make the biggest differences in life.

01/28/2023 after work decided to stop by for a coffee and snack. Grabbed a parfait from the cooler, paid for my order. Decided to sit, relax, and enjoy my parfait but that did not happen. Was so happy that I looked at the food before I took a bite. The blueberries were covered in mold. I know this sounds HORRIFIC, it's not READERS. I made no big deal about it. I made the workers aware, and they immediately made a new parfait for me (which I declined) because I already replaced it with a muffin. I am sharing this only because 1: they fixed the issue and 2: because they never went and checked the other parfaits in the cooler. I will continue to get my coffee from them and trust that "things happen" but please, when it does occur check the cooler for other potentially...

This place has become one of my regular go-to spots in the area for the last year, even since having to cut out nearly all caffeine. They keep decaf on hand, and one of the folks remember how I usually like my coffee. If I get there early enough in the morning, there are fresh hot biscuits.. pretty simple with a piece of meat, cheese and mustard but it hits the spot. Occasionally, I meet a few friends there for mid-morning coffee or lunch, and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed, sometimes service is a bit slower but that's when more folks come in.. and more so on Saturdays.
