Stopped here a couple times when we were camping at the state park. The ice cream is delicious! Prices are good for what you get. There were many times we drove or walked by and it was packed. I never went in the store, but looking through the window, it looked clean and organized.

I would say my only complaint was when we went there the second time. I paid with a card both times we went. The first time I was handed the device to sign and decide on a tip on the screen. The second time, they kept it behind the counter and asked me if I wanted to tip, then signed. I just feel it was unprofessional. I felt put on the spot with other guests standing near me and with the employee. Putting out a tip jar, handing a device, or having a spot on a signed copy should be good enough to encourage tipping.

Still gave 5 stars since it didn't seem like it was a store policy, the ice cream was good, it was clean, and was...

When you’re lucky enough to make memories by the lake, you’re lucky enough. Wonderful to have this icon renewed and ready to make new memories with generations to come. Even on a quiet, rainy day, it was fun to browse the candy selections and fun to find our favorites. As we pulled out of the parking lot and I looked through the rain on the windshield, it was like the image was wavering back and forth between past and present; that's exactly how it felt, when we stepped through the door . If you’re local, be sure to revisit it and fall in love with it all over again, and if you’re a visitor,...

Oh my. The wait in line was well worth it. Coffee ❤ Dream ice cream. I had the kiddy cone and it was a huge hand dipped mound of coffee ice cream on a kiddy sized cone. The staff was perky and sweet, and I can tell you that line never quit. I've never been to the great lakes before and was truly impressed with the quality of the product and staff. And to find coffee ice cream where I'm from in the south, you might as well be prepared to drive 50 miles or more one way for that privilege and it's no where near as good as the ice cream here. You won't regret the wait...

I use to live here briefly but I still have family here and we would come visit every few years. I’ve try many ice cream places but not here until this year. Omg their ice cream flavors are the best!!! We all had different flavour and everything tastes so good, better than the other ice cream place: Kil*** (imo). I had the lavender rose? Amazing! Hubby had the black cherries? And the kids had strawberry and chocolate fudge. Their ice cream is not overly sweet. I highly recommend this place for people with different taste buds bc they have varieties.

Gem of a store! All you need for breakfast (fresh donuts and coffee), the beach (beach pails, sunscreen, gear and towels), a bbq (s'mores, snacks) and beverages (cold beer, wine and liquor!). The best feature may be the ice cream shop with homemade and delicious local ice cream, and 24+ flavors of soft serve. The penny candy section can keep kids occupied picking out a favorite treat, and the local souvenirs make this store full service. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Recommend as a stop to experience how lots of stores used to be.
