Yo, so Dear Oliviaâs in Parkland is basically rewriting the dining playbook hereâitâs giving serious upscale-casual, barâmeetsâgastroâvibe energy. They flipped the old DĂ©jĂ Blue spot into a modern American hangout that slaps with elevated comfort food, bold shareables, and cocktails that arenât just drinksâtheyâre mood. Picture color palettes of soft greens, aquas, blush corals, and dreamy twinges of twinkle-lit cabana vibes, plus a waterside deck perfect for brunch dates or lateânight hangs. Itâs lowâkey luxe, polished AF, but still keeping that neighborhood cozy at its core. ïżŒ
The food here? Straightâfire comfort classics with elevated finesse. Weâre talking Koreanâstyle steak tips, truffle mushroom flatbreads, Reuben eggrolls, shrimp & grits with cheesy grit cake, spicy chicken sammies that hit different, and even an âAdult Happy Mealâ that pairs Caesar salad, boardwalk fries, and a martini (yes, you read that right) for maximum grownâup nostalgia. Theyâve also got standout mains like char siu pork chops, beerâbattered fish & chips, ahi tuna poke bowls, and grilled beef tenderloinâbasically, thereâs something for every craving. ïżŒ
And letâs talk drinks and service because thatâs where Dear Olivia goes next-level. The beverage program, headed by exâAmerican Social cocktail director Jose Gill, features trend-forward signature sips like the mezcalâbrightâŻGarden of Eve and the ginâboldâŻBlood and Honey. Theyâve also got curated wines and local brews to flex with. But what really sets things off? The serviceâguys, they genuinely care. At the grand opening, a local chamber rep said straight up, âthey genuinely care about people⊠hospitality that you feel right away.â That level of attentiveness combined with a huge, creative drink menu gives you that luxe bar experience without ever bottling pretension. ïżŒ
So yeah, Dear Oliviaâs is basically the new âitâ spot in Parklandâfor date nights, happy hours, family dinners, or vibey Fridays with DJs and bottle specials. Itâs stylish, unpretentious,...
Read moreWe decided to try Dear Olivia Bar and Kitchen last night, the new restaurant in West Parkland, Fl, and were not disappointed in the least. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by management and welcomed in, as if we were important people who were wanted as customers. Our server Justin was extremely familiar with all menu items, and he was able to answer all our questions without hesitation.
We began the meal with Reuben Egg Rolls, which were crispy and stuffed with chunks of pastrami, melted Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. They were served with what tasted like homemade 1000 island dressing. From the first bite, I was hooked, and was sad when I finished my last bite.
My husband ordered the Grilled Char Siu Pork Chop. It was cooked to perfection, with a beautiful presentation, worthy of a magazine photo. The flavors blended beautifully and he ate every bite. The crispy rice was a perfect accompaniment..
I ordered the Double Smash Cheeseburger, which was seared on the outside, sealing the juices into the burger. It melted like butter in my mouth it was so tender.
We finished with the Warm Baked Gooey Butter Cake. Just âWOW!â The crispy crust was baked to give a buttery flavored bite, which when combined with the soft light cake and exquisite caramel was literally âto die for,â and was perfectly paired with berries and a dollop of Chantilly Cream. We savored every bite.
This meal was an incredible, satisfying combination of flavors rarely put together, and served within a beautiful atmosphere and staffed with people who truly care about their success. I highly recommend this gem of...
Read moreI have been wanting to go to Dear Olivia Bar & Kitchen in Parkland for some time now, so when my daughter Anna asked if I'd like to go there for lunch, I jumped at the invitation, and glad I did. As soon as we walked in we recognized the bartender Kimberly and decided to sit at the bar. Everything about this place is inviting from the decor to the vibe, I knew i was going to like this lunch! Kim made some recommendations, and we started with the Butter milk Biscuits & Crispy Brussel Spouts which were delicious, the biscuits were fresh baked and the Crispy Brussel Sprouts have cranberry, goat cheese and Balsamic maderna, I highly recommend this dish, it was one of the best dishes I've had in a long time đ I decided on the Grilled Salmon Santorini quinoa salad. All I can say is, if you like Salmon, you need this salad in your life, Anna had the Chicken Riggis pasta dish with sweet and hot peppers, mushrooms in vodka sauce, she loved it. We finished off the lunch with a cup of Cuppachino and a fresh slice of Cheesecake with berries. If your looking for a place to have a great lunch, happy Hour or a night out with friends, check out Dear Olivia, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Kim, we...
