I’ve given this place so many chances. Every time I come here they tell me that I can’t order so and so item because they’re out of whatever meat, ingredient, etc. Tonight was the last straw, they were completely out of meat for the burger selection and he started listing off what meats aren’t available to order off the Mexican menu. I ended up walking away and am done wasting my time driving out of the way to come here and if you value your time you should reconsider as well.
RESPONSE TO OWNER: you disagree with my comment? What is there to disagree on? The night I left the review was one of multiple visits I’ve had where I was told certain food wasn’t available to order. Do you think I found a random Mexican food truck on google and decided to make up an experience? Use your head. I didn’t even mention that one visit I showed up at 6pm and was told that the truck was closing from 6-7pm because you needed to restock food. I actually came back that time after 7pm and ordered. I returned multiple times even after that visit and had similar experiences being told I can’t order certain items because you were sold out of food. It really shows what kind of establishment this is calling my comment “stupid” and blaming me for your inability to efficiently run a food truck. Maybe you should reevaluate how you operate a business and consider the fact you might be projecting when calling your customers stupid. Who is actually the stupid one? Hmm. And yes my time is valuable and your comment making fun of that shows how inconsiderate of a person you actually are, given the fact that my issue wasn’t a one time occurrence. I’m sorry I don’t have the time to keep a log of my exact time and visits where you were out of food. My review is to warn others they may experience the same thing I did. I didn’t say anything bad about food.. you think if I was just making things up to bash your business Id say the everything was bad including the food. Maybe use some critical thinking and management skills and have your employees keep a log of times you run out of food and make adjustments instead of blaming your customers for your problems. And I’m not welcome back!? I’m so so upset! Where else will I be able to find tacos in South Florida? I’m going to miss driving to your food truck to be told you’re out of food. If you weren’t so dense you’d realize that I left this review because I already decided I’m not coming back. Major loss on my end and I am devastated by this tragic news. I would say you lost and customer and future revenue but you wouldn’t have enough food to sell anyway so what difference does it make, right?
Here, I’ll draft you a response you can copy and paste to make it seem like you have some sort of customer service skills: “We apologize for the inconvenience! During busier nights we may run low on food, but are working on making sure this doesn’t happen in the future. Thank you for being a repeat customer and invite you to give us another chance by ordering with us again and updating your review if you are satisfied with our service”
I searched my phone and actually found texts from back in May about you being closed for an hour, then me returning and STILL not even having items on the menu. This is a completely separate incident than what my original review was referencing. Like I said this has happened...
Read moreThere is nothing better than an awesome food truck. While passing by don pablos (which I have dozens of times, since I live nearby) I already assumed that it would probably be better than average due to some of my favorites street food joints in south flotida being located by gas stations.
I finally stopped by and ordered their specialty 3 Birria tacos and one “al pastor” taco (only served on weekends). I noticed that my meal was made to order and was ready in less than 10 minutes due to place being not so busy. I chose to eat by benches near the parking lot to eat.
Food presentation of the tacos was great, from the smells, colors, and how neatly wrapped each taco was with all its many ingredients. These tacos got FLAVOR!!!! What I love most about these tacos is that they don’t overpower them with salt, so you can really appreciate the tastes of fresh ingredients. I was dipping the birria tacos with the sauce they provide and it’s honestly one of the best tasting tacos I’ve eaten down here. The Al pastor taco I tried was awesome as well. My only criticism was that the hot sauces accompanied the meal didn’t provide the kick that I’m used to. Perhaps the truck wanted to adapt to the local tastes of boca. In any case, this place is great and hope they keep up their quality on their...
Read moreToday, to my suprise and good fortune, I had the pleasure of eating the very first two Boca Smash burgers ever made. I assure you that they won't be my last. Delicious is an understatement. I know that smash burgers have been around for a while. but until you've had a "Boca Smash, you've never had a smash burger.
I can't believe I've never been here before. I stopped to fill up at the Chevron, and saw more than a dozen people eating at the outdoor seating area and a few people in line at Don Pablo. I was hungry. So I tried it. What a wonderful surprise. Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious! I've eaten at more than a dozen taco stands in and around LA, but it's not fair compare Don Pablo Mexican Grille a taco stand. This is serious and authentic Mexican food created by an award winning Mexican Chef. And if you like Mexican food, I can attest that you will never taste better. Never. This may have been my first visit, but it will not be my last. 5 stars...
