Burger King — Restaurant in Parkville

This place is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. Went one time through the drive thru and got day old fries and chicken fries that tasted like sadness. I wanted to cry for the potatoes that got disowned.

Went through another time and they had me pull around then brought my order out.... this was pure deliciousness. Props to the 16 minute wait for fresh food.

Went through last night and they're like... we don't accept coupon codes.... from our app... that we designed... for burger king. So, how are your registers working then? Will you comp me? How can you solve the situation? Nothing dude, just crickets.

My favorite though was getting my daughter lunch last summer and ordering a chicken fries combo. Got home and had a double whopper with jalapeños. Called the place and no one picked up. Called corporate to just say hey this place kinda blows,they gave me 10 dollars in burger king dollars. Best part.... couldn't use them because they're not affiliated with the franchise?

You either get something awesome or you get sadness. Don't go here ever. Especially if you're traveling; you're probably going to get pure sadness and that's not worth the 50 bucks you'll spend on your family.

If you're headed north, go to the waffle house in platte city. Decent breakfast food and cheaper. If you're headed south the legends is like 15 minutes away. Famous Dave's is okay but expensive, Crapplebees is there too but you have wayyy more options

The staff here are always friendly and all my received orders have been correct. Doing well for a newly opened Burger King.

Update: September 18, 2022 Another good experience. You can tell the staff are working hard in there. It was a little slower than usual today, but my food was hot and fresh and my drink was very fresh and highly carbonated, a perfect mix whoever is dialing that in. Hot and fresh is what matters the most, and they always serve that up right.

Update: July 25, 2023 Another perfect experience. Friendly staff, perfectly prepared burger, hot fresh fries, everything made the way I ordered it. I go here frequently and it is always 💯. Fantastic management and service workers. Thank you again.

Update: December 7, 2023 Uploaded the second picture in this review for this update. Triple Bacon King with lettuce and onion added, removed ketchup. Absolutely perfect execution, and hot fries to boot. Everything was hot and fresh and perfectly stacked. This order was from 7:28pm on December 7th, so if you were working there, you know who you are and you all were awesome. This location, as I’ve said, is the best in the city. Order online, be courteous, be patient, and you get the best.

Update June 25, 2024 Uploaded another photo of my triple cheeseburger and fries from today. This location is still batting 1000 with me. Fresh fries, HOT burger patties, melted cheese, stacked cleanly. It’s the best Burger King in the metro. Always friendly...

I typically don’t do this kind of stuff but I’m just fed up. I live just down the road from this, lovely establishment. I can place an online order, be there in 10 minutes. Not made, be there in 20, not made.. be there in 5. Not made. EVEYTIME I have to pull around and wait. However today. When I pulled up 15 minutes after placing my order, I was told the items I ordered were no longer being sold. Okay. Well I already paid for them on the app can I get something in place? He says let me ask. He walks away then a lady comes to the window and asks me to pull around and starts to close the window, I try to ask what they will replace. And she continues to say oh they found some and closes the window. Oh okay. I pull around. She brings out the food 10 minutes later, tells me have a good day and walks away after handing me bag. Before i could even say thank you she skipped back into the building. Not even to mention to her I never got my drinks, and upon further inspection of my over-full bag, I was also missing my son’s nuggets. So I have him in the back seat, I have to pull around. Ask for my drinks and my missing food. Handed me my drinks said sorry, I said thank you until she continued to tell me to have a good day and shit the window again. I yelled out I still didn’t have my nuggets. This is not just a one time thing. In fact we’ve avoided Burger King and started eating Taco Bell chicken nuggets because of the service...
