I was going to go to Sonic and get a blast because I’ve had too many problems with Dairy Queen. Plus the blasts are larger for the price. But my spouse wanted to go to Dairy Queen. She ordered a cotton candy blizzard, large. We were driving back home to Leavenworth and while she was eating it, she barely got down into her Blizzard and saw that it was a vanilla blizzard with a few sprinkles of cotton candy on top. So we contacted corporate Dairy Queen. Had their manager at this store contact us. We had to play phone tag with them. And every time we called back, it was a runaround on what they could do for us, which was nothing because they always had to ask their manager, but supposedly we were talking to a manager. All we asked for was a seven dollar coupon to be sent in the mail so that we could use it at any Dairy Queen. And they acted like we were asking for $1 million. We just wanted compensated back for what we paid. This particular Dairy Queen is a joke. The workers seem to be lazy. We thought it was strange when we ordered the blizzard in the drive-through and it was already made by the time we got up to the window. We now know why. The employee that made the blizzard name is Cameron C. That’s what was on the receipt. And we talked to a Brandon who was supposed to be an assistant manager. It seems like a bunch of goofballs running the place. Normally I don’t leave reviews, but when you get that bad of customer service, then it needs to be brought to the attention...
Read moreTypically this is a good DQ, not sure why they were closed tonight. 9pm and I watched multiple people come up to the locked doors and sat in a line at the drive thru for almost 30 minutes before I decided they were not servicing people. If you run out or cannot keep the store open (I can tell you it wasn't because they were short staffed as I watched 3 workers walk out of the store and go home) then you should notify customers. Signs on the doors and a sign on the drive thru, although it may be disappointing - especially since today was the day to donate to charity - it is a better option than letting people sit there and watch customers come out of the store with their items and associates behind the counter goofing off and standing around. Disappointed at the management staff that made this decision, as I'm sure this wouldn't be how the owner or General Manager would handle...

A line of 15 formed behind us while they tried to figure it out. Afterwards, we sat and waited and tried to keep the kids entertained. Then we noticed folks behind us were getting food sooner than we were. Ok, I thought, we had a larger order. 10 mins pass, 20 mins, 30 mins. I go back up front to ask where the food is. I’m told “they’re working on it now.” Which basically tells me they forgot about it. 10 mins later they bring out half our order. 45 mins after our initial order, I inquire about the rest of it. “They’re working on it now.” I tell them to cancel and refund the second half of the order.
